'IT HAS I PRIVATE NUMBER PLATE THATS STAYING ON THE VAN WILL TAKE THEAGEOFF WHEN UPGRADED TO THE NEW SHAPE FRONT.'

A ninety thousand pounds refit isn't going to make that look much newer than about 1807.

1981 Honda Caren. A great little machine and not many of these available in this working condition. Some slight minor rust "spots" on frame (see pic), but nothing of significance. All plastics present and intact, starts on both electric start and kickstart.
Rebuilt and overhauled last year and everything works well (MOT until November 2019). 4,811 miles. £625 ono

You will need to look at the Lancashire Slow Riders page on Facebook as its not shareable.

Cannot get past the idea of a 1.6 being pointless, it was a pretty shit engine in the Escort, tbh.

Not sure it's the same engine as the Escort - it was 100bhp in the Puma, don't think the 1.6 in the Escort was ever that powerful - although I stand to be corrected.  My dad had a Focus with the same engine and it wasn't too bad at all.

Having said that, if I have another Puma it'll have to be another 1.7.

Zetec was 90 in the Escort, which to be fair to Ford is pretty typical for a 1.6 16v with no sporty pretence, but quite a fair wack down on something like a Saxophone VTS or even an 80s Corolla GTi.
