£1,150 with actual year's MOT, there's a rarity. One of the last escorts, prices only going one way m9. Were these built in Halewood? I can haz forgotten.

£1,150 would pay for an awful lot of ladies of the night wearing stiletto shoes to walk up and down on your bollocks as you eat nettle and barbed wire butties. An experience far less painful and embarrassing than owning an Escort van.

Would this be so BAD ?  Currently £1000 no bids and only 5 miles from me. I hate the colour so I'm using that as an excuse.

ABC is the biggest liability really. Apart from that electronic issues caused by the wiring loom breaking at the door hinges, I don't think they are too bad otherwise. This one is undesirable to most because of pre-fl and grey on grey, basic for one of these.

Actually its light blue which is even worse. Great with 12 months MOT for under 2k, would immediately sell after 11 months. This one is expiring in 2 months so...

I gave Volksy a large set of green Hornsea Heirloom a couple of years back as I don't use it anymore. Had a fair bit of it.

Crusty looking Sunny Coop. These must be in single figures now?

Did these have some strange rod arrangement to open the rear windows from the dash or have I dreamt this?

Now there's a gem for that unicorns thread a week or two ago. Completely forgotten these existed.

Whilst we're on the subject of CX's, I think we're all in agreement that this is perfect (manual box and steering not withstanding)

Is it perfect enough to make me want to sell an X1/9 and a Saab for though? Damn close.

That's exactly like the first CX I drove. Bought by a workmate during a lunchtime visit to Tewkesbury car auctions for £25, about 1983. I can confirm that CXs are better with powered steering.

Can't afford it, can;t drive it (manual) and it's as ugly as Chesters bumhole but I want it!

James Walshe wants four grand for it, and even then is selling at a considerable loss as eradicating all the rusty metal cost him nearly five grand....

Puts my rebuilt gearbox into perspective.

Posted a few days ago that l'd been looking for a B3 Passat estate (preferably Diesel) for ages... this just came up, sadly too far for me to have the time to go look at/collect. Cest' la vie.

There's no point in saying What the fuck because a picture says it all.

Bulgarian Rodacar sold as an Apple 2000 (as stated in the dealer's write-up). The LHD wipers and N...DRP reg would appear to prove this:

http://maestro.org.uk/forums/forum/technical-forums/frequently-asked-questions/miscellaneous/5342-ledbury-apple-2000-maestros

I'm wondering how it's had "5+" owners yet remained in this condition. Were they all collectors of novelties? I have actually bought a car from this dealer and found him to be a decent straight forward sort.
