eBay tat volume 3.

Billy, that ADO16 poem is one of your best yet.

Agreed, but is it Billy or Barbara Cartland dog who writes them?

There is a slight irony though, as the engine in that particular collection of rust is not the original (11 stud) GT version.  Is it mean of me to hope that whoever buys it to upgrade* their mini is unaware of this?

I really want that. But musn't. I have no use for it. It's had the head gasket done, and that's one of the things about these if they aren't riddled by rust. Also 2 digit plate.

I hope someone here buys it.

It would roffle in minutes at £6 a ticket.

Or a fat fifty something, I suspect they want more than I'm prepared to pay though.

That Tempra does look nice, but be warned of the encroaching rot underneath mentioned in the most recent MOT, which followed a pretty dismal fail. I think rot killed most of them.

Also I'm not sure why the seller is describing it like he has gold bullion, but most old car sellers seem to be afflicted with that particular disorder now

Pair of rear discs: 60 quid.

Brake pipes: 6 to 12 quid each.

Subframes: unavailable....

Sorry for the click bait but, to perverts like me, it’s worth it.

Bravo. Pretty much back from the moon. Stuff like this really encourages me to keep going with the high milers.

Shame about the sump volume eh?

7.0L V8

Not sure how he arrives at that figure, since it looks like a bog standard 365 to me:

the old girl

People unable to tell girls from cars frighten me.

got a fuel can running straight from the pump

What makes the pump so scary that a fuel can is running from it?

Some rust around the rear window .

Which is a notoriously serious issue on 55-56 GM hardtops and could well be the death spell for this car.

But now comes the point I love most:

These Cadillac’s are making over £30k for a nice one so grab yourself bargain as they don’t come up for sale very often in the UK .

1. Greengrocers' apo'strophe, by Teutate's!

2. Nice four doors are merely making the asking price for this wreck, so it's hardly a bargain.

3. There is no shortage whatsoever of mid 50s Cadillacs in the UK.
