I suppose this V6 Citroen might be a safer bet? Cheaper and nearer.

"same engine as Landrover Discovery" Is that a good thing?

I don't ever remember seeing one of these C5s although in pictures it looks similar to a C6 and for me a C6 stands out everywhere.

Are these Hydropneumatic? If not I'd rather the Stockport Laguna V6 ^^

Was the brief for that C5 'right lads, we're doing the C6, but with fewer complex pressings'?

That image really shows the rear window off, and I'd never realised how close it is to the C6.

You could get that generation of C5 with Hydractive as an Exclusive option upwards, if memory serves.

A C5 Tourer was the last ever Citroen to be built with hydropneumatic suspension; it came off the line last year and Citroen barely made any fuss about it. Had to harangue the press office to get a shot of it - and eventually I got a phone potato pic of it with the staff.

Location: Stockport. Anyone in Stockport into newfangled tosh? ;-)

No.

...I'd rather the Stockport Laguna V6

I'd rather have an Invicta Black Prince Wentworth saloon retrieved on a hilariously comedic GGG press on regardless trip from the other end of the country. But if you seriously think some hatefully gopping post 1986 pile of shit with grenade guarantee is a better idea, I'd still rather have no car at all and walk.

Surely a mis-print...you mean the Grin Department? These 1.5 diesels go very nicely - especially in stripped van form. Looks a bit used up though.

Screw what the classic rags say, I reckon this is a pretty good car to store away for a couple of years.

Does sound like it may need a new cat/sensors/something/italian tune up etc
