Someone who has evidently no idea what it is and what a Fleetline is.

Someone who is evidently a total arsehole.

It was a good car, but inevitably it was ruined irreversibly the moment it landed on British soil.

I wonder how he's going to fuck up that Mk II Escort on the lift behind it ?

These have been giving me the horn of late. This one's £6500 or best offer which isn't terrible value for something this cool. Oddly selected interior shots suggested the 'reupholstered' seats aren't quite the ticket though.

Noooooo...It wasn't my other half that wanted one of these, but I wouldn't put it past her.

What a collection thread that could be.

I do apologise - who was that then? Someone at the Arundel get together said their wife had suddenly developed a thing for them.

EDIT: It was Stanky (I'm very tired and he was standing near you at the time!).  Mrs Stanky to the beige phone please!

£225 Astra with a bit of MOT.

I hate the advert descriptions that are just a list of all the standard features/luxuries of the car.

This one is a bit better, but still has a pointless long list of all the equipment.

IMHO these are dull as hell. They rust too. Having had all of these at one time go for the 280. But overall the W124 is a better steer - not quite so classic but an overall much better car.

Proton fondlers! Attention!

Proton

Bristol

A family friend wants to sell his dads old proton and has asked me if i know anyone. It's not really my cup of tea but would be ideal for a youngster looking for a cheap retro car. His dad bought it new and kept it garaged up until his death 4 years ago. His son then drove it to work and back until the mot ran out and then parked it up on his drive. This car has only covered 23,000 miles and is in real good condition for it's age. It had not been started since 2015, i checked it over put some fuel down the carb stuck on some jump leads and it started straight up. The 1.3 engine sounds sweet and everything works. There is a dent in the front passengers door where someone reversed into it witch is a real shame. I'm not sure what it's worth but he is open to offers. The car is in Bristol. If anyone is interested measage me and i will send you his number. Thanks Ryan

Looks like some Italian car mag is taking a bloody long time deciding on the winner of this 1982 Giant Test.

Job lot of poverty-engined Gamma and 2400SDTurbo for tax-break misery win.

The Alfetta's for sale too, but costs extra: https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1005742

Edit: Wouldn't touch any of them for the asking price, by the way.

Further edit: Yes it would have to be 1984 for an SDTurbo, but let’s not overthink it, eh?

There was a car called Twenty Five

It was built during a project named Drive

The car was a flop

The engines went pop

But at least it helped Rover survive

Low mileage, 7 months MOT, £200.

If only the car wasn't so far away from anyone who fits windows.

Probably just received the quote from there for replacing all the glass and thought "fuck that" so on Gumtree it goes!

I wonder who they annoyed enough to get all their windows broken in the first place?

There's a decent bit of engine work been done on this sweetheart, but there is a bit of underbody corrosion. It's only limited to all the metal bits mind.

To be fair, it's no worse than I'd have done with cornflake boxes and parcel tape.

Marketplace Avantime, no price, no MOT but 60k. I have messaged the seller to get a price in behalf of any of you lot who may be interested.

EDIT: Wants £500 and the MOT history indicates by now it will likely need double that to get another.
