I know Peugeot had 'gone shit' by the time they were making these but they really are cheap as chips, this ones currently 400 quid. SUrely they cant be THAT much worse than a Clio 172.

And the back of it looks like a shitty Ambulance conversion. Imagine coming out of your house every morning and being confronted with this thing sat on your driveway. Friggin awful

Owners of these things have a cunning* plan to overcome their aesthetic failings: sleep in it, and don't leave it, until you sell it, at which point you step out of it and DON'T LOOK BACK.

To be fair, they're well specced inside, if you ignore the weird wind out toilet that can be used (in emergencies) without winding out the walls that should enclose it. They are however, yes, just Renault Trafics underneath and as such are working quite hard to lug the devil's coach-horse-inspired body around behind it.

Life expectancy is hence, also insect-like

A former colleague of mine had one of those on an employee lease plan, fitted it with OZs, Spastic shocks, uncomfortable seats,

those terrible seatbelts that are safe and said all it needs is another 180 OMGBHPs. He let me have a go in it and - well - he was right.

He then bought a 6 litre Holden something that came from the factory with go faster stripes and cost half as much to insure.

Now that was Thor's Hammer.

I was only thinking about this Mitsubishi the other day, which sold on Trademe last year. Now it's back:

Apart from mild barrying, what's of interest?

3 litre V6 and manual box out of a Sigma shoehorned in! Needs slight dashboard rectification.

Aside from being the colour of a used teabag, this ticks a lot of boxes and Cornwall is quite convenient for me.  Interior's a bit manky but would probably scrub up ok.   Not sure about that steering wheel, mind, I wonder if that's an aftermarket giffer dye job.  MOT history looks pretty sound.

What's to know about the 2.0 manual in these? Any good?

116i, the most utterly dismal thing they have every made.

Dismal when new, but now that it's comprehensively fucked? Spend the money on a portable gallows.

I can't figure out why these turds make so much ££££. A working 120i or a diesel, maybe. But a five speed 116i that can just about summon enough bhp to pull your foreskin back?
