James May approved on Top Gear quite some years ago. Weren't these designed by an ex TG presenter (from the 80's or 90's version)? I'm sure I remember James saying something along those lines in the episode where he drove one.

'Daisy, Daisy give us a Frenchie, do

I've got some vinyl, three wheels and some glue

It won't be a painless ride out

with a the handbrake shoved up your clout

But you'll look a treat, upon the rear seat

of a lawnmower made for two'

'could be ex RAF WW2 as there is blue paint under the black'

In the same way that picture my kids drew on an old fucking TUC biscuit tin lid could actually be Van Gogh's 'Poppy Flowers' as there's definitely yellow paint underneath.

Fascinating, the owner was born in 1921, so he is very old, no wonder he has given up driving! It's on disabled tax as a result. No MOT in a while according to online records but advert says 06/18...French car, Italian engine - sounds a good combo.

Shipley would be about £400 though :-(

You know on Dragon's Den when they accuse people of finding an answer to a question that's never been asked? Well, I'd pissing well love to know who got up in the morning and considered the possibilities of knocking up a fairground-esque death trap for two foot high single parents with 17ft tall kids

That, I think, is right up there with the shittest trike ever, and that's no mean feat.

As y'all probably know, my 306 cabriolet is up for Raffle atm - and I'm looking at replacements.

The only stipulations are

  • Must be a nice colour
  • Must have a manual roof

I have found a replacement which I am in talks about.  It is also yellow, and also has a soft top.

Fortunately sadly it's not this absolute fucking basket case.

it would be brilliant for someone who is, for instance, a childrens entertainer...

Good idea!

I'm sure that's my old one, looking at the number plate. I think Ken and Andy on here both had ownership for a while, too.
