eBay tat volume 3.

Even more so is this, but surely it never started off as a 7.5 tonner, must have been 11-17 tonnes minimum? If it's been down rated it must be heavy I'd have thought? Anyhow, if it was a bit nearer I think I'd just YOLO and run round without a tacho, perhaps claiming some imaginary 'law' whereby living on a council estate and having a broken down Italian scooter and 58" surround sound telly means I don't need a card.

£1,195 in Dorchester. It'd be a decent challenge playing 'avoid Vosa/hobby bobbies' on the way home, mind.

The "11" just below the door handle does indeed give it away; in old money it'd have been a Freighter 1113 or something rather than a Roadrunner 812.

The mileage displayed is presently just over 113300, which is easily supported by all the paperwork. I also have a photograph of the display showing 99999, which was taken in July 2012

Precious memories

This Passat is already famous, albeit in a very small way – in preparation for this offer, I was checking through the easily found online photographs for ‘1987 Volkswagen Passat’ and was rather surprised to discover that a photo has been posted showing him parked up when visiting the Goodwood Revival, which I shall estimate would have been in 2011.

If having a car appear on Google Image Search when you search for that specific model makes you 'famous in a small way', I must be Paris Hilton.

I recommend reading the description in the ad btw, if you have a spare couple of hours. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C762578

This looks pretty sweet for £795 ONO.

It's a saloon!

It's got a full year's MOT!

It's in Sudbury, which according to my phone is in the centre of Canada's largest mining region and has a population of 151,000.

I have decided I don't mind the face lifted ZT, too. I wonder how capable the turbo k-series is?

*with apologies to the junkman....

I'm amazed by some of the stuff these idiots come out with. During my dealership days in the late 90's if you got a shitty trade in for £5-50 you went for a £100 profit. That's inflation for you I guess.

The saloons had round headlights I believe. Think they were the base model type of car, no posh hatchback or trendy* square lights.

ETA, looks like half door cards and no radio too.

L saloons had proper headlights:

Wheezy Chevette engine too.

Different engine: 1256cc in the Chevette, 1196cc in the 1200 Astra.
