Lord Sterling
Yo. Here's one for the Scotoshite KrEw. It was the 4th Volvo of that era I'd seen today. There seems to be a LOT of Volvo estates around here. This home-brew effort seems to be owned by a Volvo apologist. He always has older Volvos laying about on his very small garden-cum-driveway. He now has some bery old 4x4 thing and a Volvo P1800. They are both covered. Heidel_Kakao, catsinthewelder, Datsuncog and 7 others

sheffcortinacentre
The Corsa was avl in South Africa/ South America, the Austin landcrab is Australian & the MK3 fiesta is/was a ford concept. Fiesta pickups MK3 onwards were sold in again South Africa/South America. If you where gunna make an 1100 pickup I'd use an estate same as always thought an aggro estate would make a good looking one too. yellowperil
Is that Transit from Norfolk? There used to be one just like that on my round over ten years ago, then it disappeared.
UltraWomble
You could hire that transit out for hen nights and school prom's. No? Just me then. chaseracer
warch
Not a home made pickup per se, the trook was a completely normal looking L200. I was intrigued however by the effing massive pickup bed top... Behold!

bunglebus
I very nearly started a thread about rare and unusual cars that have been banger raced but thought it was a bit upsetting
UltraWomble
Seems to be a thing with banger racers, turn up with something a bit rare & different. Shame, but what can you do, you cant save everything. The trammy above looks to have been stripped of most useful bits anyway.

Lankytim
The transit wasn't a home built jobbie, I forget what it was originally used for, possibly airport work.

MorrisItalSLX
I like how they went to the trouble to build a tailgate the same width as the number plate, very useful. Dan_ZTT

martc
Gront licence built the Reliant Robin Pick Up (badged as the Gront Focus) on the Faeroe Islands. Not surprisingly they went bankrupt but managed to pay off their debtors by selling the copyrighted 'Focus' name to Ford.
