Ford South Africa. Based on 2-door front.

The one below's not Ford South Africa. Based on 4-door. But I particularly like the WGAF attitude with the standard front wheeltrim hubcaps, the style of which started with the 1959 105E Anglia and lasted right through all the 60s Fords till the mid 70s basic Mk3 Cortina 'L decor'.

Next one's a long 2-door, but is it a conversion or not? Longer rear overhang like an estate but 2-door doors. Earlier grille but on 75 car. Who knows, I really like it.

But I don't think it came from the factory with a 5.0.

Mega clean car, so well done it looks like factory V8 installation Zoom in on that engine bay. It's still around too. Fantastic.

Bet it's a bit lively on the throttle at roundabouts. Factory 'backie' versions had a leafsprung axle.

Given it’s got a separate bed, i’m going for FACTORY.

The clue is the registration date.  It was imported/registered 2006

It's a 1975 Ford Cortina Pickup built at the Port Elizabeth SA plant

The SA cars had the longer doors from the two-door sedan. 1971-77

Aside from the grille etc, you can tell the difference of the Taunus TC-based Otosan P100 built in Turkey as that used the shorter doors from the four-door sedan.

No, I don't know what you'd do with it either. Transport boxes of eggs maybe.

Use your imagination. Is this not the alfresco* equivalent of a van with a mattress?

*Alfresco / Dogging

Other than the Aldi grille, that works rather well - got a link?

Can't figure out how to do links on this phone. It's the last post on page 5110 on the ebay tat thread. It's finished now but you can still see the pics. It went for £440 with 35 bids. Can't help thinking it wasn't worth the effort.
