mercrocker
They were a very common sight in Holland during the late Sixties, mostly the earlier 600 model. I think the church minister where my Grandad was living had one. They were presumably significantly cheaper than the home-grown DAFs..... barefoot
I've finally managed to find fifty-five fun filled seconds of mine. Trabant copy.mp4 Apologies that I can't seem to embed it, but it opens immediately. LightBulbFun
PiperCub
I still kick myself for not buying one when they were cheap! Would love one just to annoy the 'Jones' brigade at my local Waitrose. Especially love the estate versions. A mate had one in the early 90's he liberated from Germany, was an absolute scream to drive (esp. given my love for 2-stroke bikes), on it's genuine East German 'Karl Marx' crossply tyres (I kid you not, that's what they were marked as). barefoot
Would love one just to annoy the 'Jones' brigade at my local Waitrose. I used to enjoy doing the 'drive thru' in reverse! bangernomics, LightBulbFun and TrabbieRonnie

Inspector Morose
Also useful in car parks too but don’t do it if the exit leads straight onto the main road... TrabbieRonnie and Tadhg Tiogar
