RobT Posted April 16, 2019 Author Share Posted April 16, 2019 I changed the drive belt on Sunday as it was looking a bit elderly An easy job being right at the front of the engine and on top. Adjusted up easily too. The old one had stretched a bit...it's definitely the correct replacement too, as I matched up the part numbers. I also checked the cam belt by popping the cover off. Not in the first flush of youth but looks OK. Followed by a rinse using Simonez wax free shampoo. I normally use Autoglym, but this was half the price and I reckon does a better job. I can see a roffle in a few months time is probably the best bet. I've got a 350 mile trip to do tomorrow, and being a hooligan in POWER mode last night proved to me I'm not quite done with it.
