Jim Bell
Took it for a run in the sun and it still kangaroos a little bit at low speeds at very low throttle. Will have to let @Jimbob McGregor have a look at it. Dyslexic Viking, djim, Tickman and 7 others
Jim Bell
The current wheels are shite. Theyre OEM but look horrible and badly need a refurb so I'm looking for some steels that will fit and possibly some ALL TERRYIAN tyres. For some light Laning. Jim Bell
We are a pushing on into a fortnight of Ssangyong ownership and it has been busy. It's first trip out was up to Weardale to see @Jimbob McGregor Verdict from the SKYRAMP tm is that she is reassuringly solid. Which is nice. It's really in its elephant going up and down lovely hills slowly. Jim Bell
Its not a horrible place to sit for the odd four hours so I ran it up the hill for some Scotoshite GLFing. Gang signs. Early start to be on the start line by 10:00 am. Goes alright on the flat. dome, paulplom, garbaldy and 5 others

Jim Bell
She couldn't beat a freshly laid egg but she tried her best. Credit to @davidfowler2000 for the trackside youtubing. versus @rml2345 in the handsomest Volvo at the track. (though he did cheat by putting redexx in the tank after the tech inspection. Those extra octanes really made the difference) And in car. VID_20220515_133918704.mp4 privatewire, Popsicle, 320touring and 9 others
Jim Bell
My three 20 second runs were by far the slowest of your day but it's not about winning, it's about grinning. Great to see all the attendees. Top bants as ever. After racing, I swung past to see @Lacquer Peel to pick up some pressed juice of the vegertals. Think we fitted about 600 litres of fuel into it. And about 600 old car magazines. And haim. She sat a bit low on the way back down the hill but the engine did not give two fucks about the heavy load. It pulled just as well as it did empty. It's such a good lump. Think it was about 400 miles round trip. Through sun, torrential rain and fog. Over b roads, country lanes, motorways and down a drag strip. It doesn't feel at home on any of them to be honest, I think it would prefer to be off road. All in all she's not a bad turn for and auld girl. garbaldy, 320touring, mercedade and 17 others

garbaldy
Excellent it's a few years since I've been to crail, one thing I've not missed is that key sound while off roading it used to get on my nerves as I always forgot to remove the jangley bit from mine before launching into the scenery.
