thatsmacar
I ask because I am getting gear stick wobble when ever the car moves. It used to be pretty bad but has calmed down quite a bit, yet it's still there.Datsun Almera.

scaryoldcortina
Probably broken unless it's the front mount on a vauxhall astra automatic.

And then wait for everyone else to tell me it's a fucking nightmare! Good luck
paulscavalier
Definitely shagged. Mrs cav has had an engine mounting break when she was driving in the snow not a good experience apparently!

And then wait for everyone else to tell me it's a fucking nightmare! Good luck It's the right mount (not the gearbox side) and looks to be relatively easy. My only worries are old bolts and the need to prop the engine up. Matty

Guest Hooli
You tight bugger! Why did I never think of that! Must remember for an emergency. I once wrapped a knackered hard plastic bush in a car's strut top in sellotape to keep it mobile. It was still there months later when I sold it.
