quicksilver
https://vintagestony.co.uk/ What better way to see in the new year than in a historic market town full to bursting with classic cars? Sadly this will be the last New Year's Day event but the sister show in the summer is continuing. It officially opens at 9:30 but experience says you need to be there before 9am to get a decent parking spot. We'll be there with the Maxi as always so is anyone else going? Zelandeth
Might see if I can get over there in the Lada - though not holding my breath given I got there at about 915 last year and couldn't even get near the town centre, never mind into the event itself. Jifflemon
Will be going but not exhibiting; it’s still one of the best shows about!

Six-cylinder
I couldn't get parked last year and an early start is not an option so I will give it a miss.
quicksilver
What an amazing turnout! I don't know if it was because people were taking their last chance to attend but it was the busiest I've ever seen with cars literally everywhere, including a lot I hadn't seen before. Plenty of the usual show fodder and more Triumph TRs than you could shake a stick at, but some interesting stuff too. Here's the first set of highlights, there will be more but not tonight. quicksilver
New one on us and we have been logging them for the last 19 years.Originally given by Enzo to the boss of AP Automotive Products IIRC. I've only found one other photo from 2017, it's never been here before and I don't know where it has been hiding.
Six-cylinder
When we bought the Black car there was a white two seater for sale at the same time. A year or so later the two seater was unsold and painted retail silver.
NorfolkNWeigh
Thanks for those pics Quicksilver, I couldn't be bothered with the crowds and struggling to park, just to see the same cars. Don't think I've seen that Auto Union before, but apart from that, I'm glad I stayed at home.Look forward to being proved wrong by future pics. I saw the Auto Union Universal (Estate), NSU (rear engined) and the gold Bond Minicar near Blakesley, heading home in convoy. The Bond was still an open top in the rain!
