Jim Bell
Mrs Shitpeas's's would go weak at the knees for this. She would then sob into her Yorkshire puddings because she can't afford it. Pics would be a great way to make her more miserable. Tickman, Wingz123, barmatt and 2 others

Ghosty
Bargain, I quite like these (mum has one). One of the few moderns I'd consider. Jim Bell

rml2345
Is she getting an 850 soon?Possibly*Apparently it's not to leave ever. That and the Mini is a bit impractical so a big Volvo is an ideal replacement. Tickman and aldo135
aldo135
Good stuff, I really liked that car. As you said before they feel much more modern but are "still a Volvo". it's started appearing in my "Facebook memories", it was brilliant this time last year in the snow! Sorry for changing the subject... Mini for sale! dome and rml2345

gm
a supercharger makes the engine more efficient, right ? so better mpg's ? I'm clutching at straws here I'd love to have a go on one of these round knockhill, the race series used to be in n/a coopers which I could pretty much keep up with in the mx5 on trackdays, now they're onto cooper S's and they leave me for dust on the straights what a relief there won't be any opportunities for excessive alcohol consumption over the next few days, I might do something silly (pics please) Jim Bell and Aston Martin

cort16
That really is a great price for a Cooper-S. I've always liked these but money, space, temporal time loop in the back garden. All the usual excuse really.
gm
yep, same here - looks like a good 'un but as I'm currently selling my house with garage and two car drive and moving to.....bugger, I'd better sort something out soon or I'll be back living a my parents house. not the time for buying a new toy anyway

rml2345
The pictures flatter it a bit, it's scruffier up close but it's not a hopeless minger and doesn't appear to have been seriously shunted either which seems to be a rarity on these. Pillock
OOOOF. That's so purdy. Sadly at that price it won't be still around in a few weeks time when I might need a car.

Vince70
I hope you don’t mind but I just saw someone was looking for a cheap R53 on Pistonheads heads and I linked your motor as it looks a bargain for someone.
drum
I looked these up and it said power can be 160 to 210bhp depending on the model.Which one is this? Looks like good fun no matter which.
SiC
Higher power is the John Cooper Works edition. Badge slapped on the back as an option but not always. Basically the increase in power is due to a pulley change on the supercharger. Hence many did it even if not originally a JCW out of the factory. drum

Aston Martin
Isn't it simple to bang a bigger pulley on the supercharger?
Fat_Pirate
This one will be 163 BHP, then went to 170 a bit later. JCW runs larger injectors and intercooler, I've considered it but can't be arsed.
