michiel
I should have crossed the road for a better shot but lunch breaks are finite... (Bonus oldish Landcruiser at our botanical garden) This Voyager has been lowered so much the exhaust is scraping the floor... Weeks of bird crap & parking tickets, I wonder when they will take it away...

Wouldn't be surprised if that 900T was one of less than 5 still alive, wonder how much longer it will be around, didn't look too good

michiel
Nice sunny day today so I took a long walk. Spotted a 1979 245 GLE: A 1970 Rekord 1900L: Then in the distance I saw something that was either a weird Beetle/2CV-based kit car or something Very Cool... better take a closer look then: F*ck me! According to the badge (official Italian CSAI badge) it's a 1947 Fiat 1100 Sport. Made me grin for the rest of the day! Dunno if it actually has done a Mille Miglia though... michiel
I haven't got a clue actually, parked in a garage on a ramp (no current MOT)... tried to find out a bit but all I get so far are links about the Bertone 850 Racer.
michiel
Wait, what do we see here? More here: http://www.carstyling.ru/en/car/1975_fiat_visitors_bus/ 'Based on a standard Fiat 850T Minivan, Bertone designed a low production model, specially built for transporting people at the Fiat factory.' seth
Thats pretty funky and looks very well finished for what might be a concept/one off? Look at all that chrome trim round the inside of the doors!
Vin
That Bert One is pretty funky. As far as I know they weren't a one off, but then I think they only made maybe a dozen or so. Airport transport for a special event rings a bell but I'm not sure. I'll have a look in some of my books, as the many Italian coach-builders and design houses were churning out hundreds of variations on the 600/850/900T commercial chassis, during the Sixties & Seventies.
