This is with the front door cover removed. the grey bit is the water tray at the bottom of the dishwasher. The seal is buckled but could be straightened with a little gentle heat and refitted. the tray I planned to bolt a length of metal underneath it to hold it straight and stop it leaking

With OMGSNOKAOS now just around the corner I wouldn't like to offer my used winter tyres for sale.

Nexen winter tyres size 215/55R16 97H

These have plenty of tread left and provide safe grip on cold, wet roads. Used for two winters from November till March when the average temperature was below 7 degrees.

They were used on my now departed Volvo V70 and gave great confidence even when it wasn't snowing.

£80 please.

I could possibly strap these to a pallet for courier pick-up.

Well folks, I thought I had managed to get rid of all my 1990s motor show ephemera and catalogues at the start of the year via the Autoshite FB page, when what should turn up but yet ANOTHER large box in my parents' attic...

post-17915-0-39790600-1512123354_thumb.jpg

Rather than killing the pinned For Sale thread, I thought I'd start a new topic for these. I've more car related rubbish to move on too, on a cost-of-postage Shitecycle basis (some of which is in the main For Sale post, though has slipped back a bit with no takers), so I may re-post here accordingly.

This batch is mostly mid-'90s mass market stuff - plus quite a lot of random classic mags and ancient copies of Auto Trader etc. All generally in good condition, although unfortunately one or two have had manufacturer  logos clipped from them for a long-ago art coursework piece on design and advertising. Sorry about that.

I'll be putting up individual posts for each item starting this afternoon, grouped by manufacturer and going from A to Z, with a pic of the cover and a brief description. If you see something you like, hit 'reply' including the quote and I'll reserve it for you, then I'll put a strikethrough the text on the item in question so everyone knows it's taken. It's a first come, first served deal - I'll do my best to update straight away.

As my main intent is simply to clear a bit of space, I'm only looking to cover postage here. There's a notional price of £1 posted per item, but if there's a few items you'd like then I will of course weigh them together and give you the lowest possible combined postage price. I'll PM you with a final postage price and PayPal details.

I'm sorting through and titling the photos now, and will start posting them up from about 12 noon - so if there's a shiter you know of who collects such things, give them a rattle now and alert them that this is coming up.

Chrysler Voyager - 4 page A4 launch booklet, dated November 1996.

Sent to my dad by Chrysler UK after he got collared by a salesman on the Chrysler stand at the Ulster Motor Show (letter included, if you like).

We actually got a LOT of correspondence and promo goodies from Chrysler UK, including a set of very arty PT Cruiser photos sent to us without explanation. But we never ever considered buying one.

Right, a whole stack of mid-90s Ford stuff coming up now.

First off is this Fiesta Classic brochure - Ford's way of wringing another few years out of the superseded Mk3 Fezzer to the cash-strapped and/or clueless. [see also Renault Clio Campus]

10-page, A4, dated March 1996 and with the Ford brochure reference K120.

My best mate bought one of these new in 2000, after he crashed his Mk3 Fiesta. This is it an hour after pick-up.

It literally fell to bits within three years and he traded it in against a Rover 200.

**TAKEN**

Ford - Full Range catalogue, dated February 1994

114-pages, A4, including price lists for 1993 special editions and RS models, a slightly-stuck 6-page A4 leaflet for the Mondeo Aspen special edition, and a free ticket to the Ford Golf Classic ladies' championship in April 1994.

Contains such joys as a base-model Escort Mk6 with colour-coordinated bumpers, which just looks weird.
