What vehicle/s do you really want?

To save listing the entire contents of a 1960s Observers Book of Automobiles, I've limited my wishlist to five:

 

1. Renault 10

2. Wartburg Knight saloon

3. Austin A90 Atlantic saloon

4. Bond Minicar Type G Estate

5. NSU RO80

What do I really want?

 

I have a Stellar now so that is off the list. My top five then, in no particular order;

 

Yue Loong Feeling.

FSO Polonez - an MR87, in red, on Wellers.

Proton Saga. Has to be an 8 valve saloon with no PAS.

Hyundai Pony Gold Medal (to go with the Stellar).

A really nice, not rotten Senator 3.0i.

Your taste is cars is class. I have never heard of a Yue Loong Feeling. I firstly thought is was something you could purchase on Walking Street in Pattaya, but after checked it looks brilliant.

You would need a Ladybird Motor Cars wishlist to get a Bond!.....Warne were very sniffy about Automobile wheel-count for some reason.

True.  I had a Hippo book of cars and commercial vehicles which included Reliant and Bond, but the Observers editions eventually stooped to include Tatra amongst other Eastern block cars which made me drool at the time.  I think they regarded three wheelers as motorcycles because of the then strong links with bikes and outfits in the road tax categories.

Classic Saab 900 manual. Lots of fond childhood memories. Can’t stomach the inflated prices on the open market. I’ve been hoping one would turn up here but classic AS Saab 900s seem to all be automatics.

I would personaly go for the HX LE, the perfect blend of 2 door Monaro styling and Statesman Caprice luxury.

Well if we aren't having the Chev lump I'll add to my list an HQ one tonner with WB statesman front, 308 with gas research lpg system, extractors, big roo bar and a case of VB and a bottle of Bundy, big whip aerial and holders for fishing poles assorted stickers and about 6 buckets of red dust. As seen at every B&S ball circa 1990, usually attempting circle work - often badly

 

Might as well add an SL/R 5000 Torana as well.
