I've asked my brother if he could collect it for me.

I'm in no hurry for it to go,it can sit here till the xmas holidays.

I haven't had a towbar for 2 years, the trailer was in the garage at my mothers for the past 2 years.

I also need to get a tyre on it but my friendly tyre lad will do it just give a couple of days notice.

That's a really useful size.  Wish ours had a bit higher sides like that, would cut down on the number of tip runs I need to make with the garden waste!

Looks tidy and we'll worth the asking price.  I'd offer to help with delivery if needed, but am miles away so unless it turns into a relay, probably not much use.

I have now bought a tow bar, it's in Germany so presumably it'll arrive at some point and be all metric on my imperial , er, Subaru.

I'm sure ScaryOldCortina will be delighted* at the prospect of getting underneath my old Subaru again.

Now collected and safely away awaiting arrival of a tow bar.

Cheers Mr V8!

Anyone's input as to whether, or how, one makes it sit level rather than point to the sky once it's on a normal height towbar much appreciated..

Go to a place that sells metal.

Buy some square tube that's the same dimensions as the draw bar.

Unbolt the hitch from the draw bar and put the square tube inside the hitch.

Drill holes and bolt the hitch with the tube inside it to the top of the draw bar with some longer bolts.

Repeat until it's level enough.
