Squire_Dawson
We'll have a Football Club Committee meeting before long and we'll announce the date then; I'm thinking that it would be inconsiderate to hold it when Saabnut is off to LeMans as he has said he would like to attend. The farm shop down the road has been sounded out about all day breakfasts - they would like people in early as they get pretty busy on Saturday mornings - Sunday for the traditional Scottish hospitality? My local would be pleased to see some visitors, £3/pint at the moment and they do a fine egg and chips (pickled egg in a packet of crisps); the front bar looks like it hasn't changed since the landlady's father in law bought the place in 1946 - and she hasn't changed much in the 30 odd years I have been going in there, doing well in her eighties. For gourmets the other pub does good food - somewhat gastropub Pub? PUB?! WHERE WHO AND WHAT? I would love to take some Southern neck oil again, the hostelry sounds a great place. That's great to know the dining is sorted, I'll eat out every night.
beko1987
Are Scotland wanting to organise a donation pot to bring 2 or maybe 3 packs of square goodness? After last year.. Squire_Dawson
Guest Hooli
You know why they have square sausages don't you? it's so they can pack more in a ovlov! Twiggy, dozeydustman, puddlethumper and 2 others
dozeydustman
I do like a bit of Lorne sausage. With some black pudding or white pudding (or indeed both) in doorstep cut white bread. With a dollop of brown sauce. And a fried duck egg. SierraMikeHotel and Ghosty

dozeydustman
Duck eggs can be provided I buy a dozen once a month on pay day, so I may well pack some with me. I'm hoping I can also get hold of goose and or turkey eggs as well...
davidfowler2000
We can take orders for Scottishness nearer the time. Provided any of us can make it. beko1987, chaseracer and Saabnut
Yoss
Ok, I've no excuse this time. I only get one Saturday in four off, but as there's a big digital sign on the M27 near us that says 'Exeter 2hrs' when they're not using it to warn of impending doom then even if I'm working I should still be able to get there by teatime. Count me in. beko1987
kirton
We have free (to you) Wi-Fi at the Club, and at the farm shop. My local has joined the 20th century,it is cash only with an Arkright open-all-hours type till. loserone
Oh shit, it is actually possible we make this shitefest, on our way home from BiL's wedding in Toulon. We'd be driving past anyway, with a long drive still ahead of us. If it's the second suggested weekend, anyway.

It was a separate DECONSTRUCT A VISA event some months later. Somewhere there's a hilarious photo of Rhys doing the "it's fucking fucked m8, big time" schtick from the cover of the Ladybird book. He picked up driving very quickly - admittedly in a badermatic Avensis - which should fill his father with pride fear abject horror.
