dean36014
It's time to let it go, been a faithful companion. It's on 278k now, 2.0 hdi diesel. Just had a cambelt, recent starter motor, mot until April. It drives absolutely fine, doesn't burn oil or jump out of gear. It's a standard estate inside with a removable steel load deck where back seats were. Faint wiff of diesel inside as I spilt some, cleaned it many times and it's definitely fading. Bodywork is in really good condition, no lawyer peel or dents. Comes up lovely with a wash. Front bumper has some splits that have been cable tied but other than that it's very tidy inside and out. Good tyres and a massive history file. Would like 400 for it, and it's in Coventry.Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk davehedgehog31, Aston Martin, Cavcraft and 3 others

The Moog
Thats gumtrees fault. If you put an offer in they just send a number .. no cover message saying an offer has been made etc. Aston Martin
dean36014
Ah i see, wasn't a bad offer but no doubt they'd try and chip you down more if the actually viewed it.

dean36014
It's a shame, its been a great van, but I've six vehicles and one needs to go unfortunately. i'd go anywhere in it, and I've been all over the country in it. dean36014
And a no show. I've not sold a car for years and didn't realise how much hassle it is. No one got a cheap van?
bub2006
If you still have it after Christmas I'll have it! Hopefully you will sell it soon on a serious note. I've seen it and it's tidy. dean36014
dean36014
I must admit I'm gobsmacked it hasn't sold. It's probably one of the best condition ones left. It's the miles that puts people off and van insurance. If it doesn't sell I might just have to keep it and put some nice alloys on it. Kiltox
This thing’s fucking ace. If I still had trade insurance I’d be all over it. Two vans does not a happy insurance bill make.
Matty
Seeing as it's essentially an estate can't it be insured as one instead? Or is it marked as van on the v5?

Whole point in it historically will be for BIK for companies (or Irish car tax)

dean36014
It's a hdi, so if a car it would be around 140 a year I think. It's 2004 so emmision based. It's a euro 4 engine.

If it was pre 2002 it would be the same kind of cash on engine size though. Shouldn’t be a deal breaker for anyone apart from the most feckless. My 2016 65 van costs the same to tax. dean36014
Asks best price, then offers a 100 below that as he lives 30 miles away. I suggested he saved more money up or finds something local! Its getting quite entertaining now. Must remember next time I sell a car to get a burner sim card! dean36014
And it's sold. Trader came out and looked at it and bought it for his mate to use as a handy man's van. Shame it will get dirtied up but 350 in the bank! Datsuncog, clayts450, beko1987 and 5 others
