God knows why one picture is upside down.

Because your phone was the other way up when you took it.  The phone knows this (g-sensor) and puts an attribute with the picture to indicate which way up it should be shown (on a screen that it knows which way up it is... g-sensor again).

However, when you export them to a computer, that attribute as to which way up the picture should be is sometimes lost.  You can rectify this by rotating and re-saving it in almost any image editor (and many viewers).

I was keeping this for spare parts for our two satellite dash Visas, but if you are going to do something special with it then to you I would part with it to you.

I wonder how hard it would be to fit the complete dashboard? Have you a price in mind Chris?

The phone was in the same orientation for both pictures. That's what I don't understand, one correct, other upside down. I've only got a mobile phone, no laptop so photo editing is a dark art to me

First time out in the daylight. Roof looks crap, hopefully a light sanding and polishing will help. It's by no means perfect, lots of sanding marks in paint as I'm useless at prep and rushed it. But it's tidied it up and hopefully I've got rid of all the rust for a while.

Cambelt inspection in the Vel Satis. Considering no one has come forward to say they've replaced it I'd say that's been on a good few miles. Top engine mount is knackered too. Just replaced the front and sensor so time to hook the laptop up and see if it sorts the issue out. Had a good look underneath and it's amazingly solid. A few metal break pipes are due replacement so might as well do the flexis whilst I'm at it. Rear exhaust mount is broken so a replacement ordered. The brake discs aren't great, but should be ok for a while yet.

It's just Citroen rouge red, the original colour. To be fair the photos flatter it, it's definitely  a ten yarder

Ah okay, apologies if you've said elsewhere but where did you obtain the paint? It looks like a pretty good colour match for my BX.

Also, I've just noticed the placement of the umlaut on the van's writing. Isn't it supposed to be on the E instead of the O?
