SmokinWaffle
Does anyone know SmokinWaffle? I've tried messaging him again but he's not been on-line since yesterday morning. I'll set a deadline of 5.30pm tonight then re-offer the last two numbers if I've not heard back by then. If anyone wants to lay claim to two (possible) numbers please say so asap, thanks. Ball bags - my sincerest apologies - had a bastard of a weekend which meant I barely got sleep let alone getting on a PC. Glad somebody won though - sorry for the hassle. Sad I didn't get a shot but it's my own fault! Cavcraft

gm
Ok then, time for a collection. Bag packed, map consulted - that's further than I realised A short stroll along the canal to the station (the two chaps piloting the canal boat were having a great time, the two wifes sat in the deck looked totally fed up with their nonsense) Right, let's check the train times Bugger ! But then a really happy train appeared, things are going to be alright after all I got to Haymarket in time to catch the fast train which was fast but was missing the free wifi and phone charging points I was led to expect still, it got me to Crewe where I changed onto a rattley old local train for local people (that i forgot to take a photo of) and was met at Chester station by Mr Cavcraft himself What a smashing guy, not content with giving me a free car, he'd provided me with a picnic for the journey home. With the last volts of charge left in my phone, he snapped a quick woolard and I hit the road. With the phone on charge, I asked the satnav for a fuel stop and it took me to Runcorn ?!? A full tank for £30 And I booted it away up the road. First impressions - it's a canny little car, suprisingly capable on the motorway and will maintain a decent speed once you give it time to get there. It's definitely got a bit of character, I think I like it. Many thanks to Billy, it was great to meet you, I promise I will look after it The Moog, Datsuncog, oldcars and 9 others

gm
I've had a few days off this week so started to tinker with the little pug. Top priority was to get a decent stereo fitted, along with a 3 ball gear nob off JakeBullet Which highlighted the lack of rear speakers, so I channelled my inner teenager and built a parcel shelf I didn't have two matching speakers in the parts pile but they are the same size and similar spec, should do the trick Proper speaker carpet and everything, looks better than the flimsy one that I took out And fitted a dealer sticker (this one has been recycled onto five cars now) While I was fancying about with the boot in bits, I found the source of the water leak which was filling the spare wheel well. Rear light clusters off, get busy with the silicon And now I have a nice dry boot With Tayne due on Saturday to pick up the roffle A2, I called my insurers to see about swapping it over : £18 less but with a £26 admin fee = £8 to pay Stil, that's it road legal now, I might even take it for a drive tomorrow Kiltox, The Moog, Dick Longbridge and 5 others
Cavcraft
Ha, that pool ball gear knob looks ace. The original parcel shelf is dreadful good work sacking that off. gm, oldcars and mk2_craig
