busmansholiday
I had an original Panda 45 back in the early 90's. Did about 75k miles in it, rough, noisy, rotted, but it was actually quite fun. I'm guessing it's in North Devon by previous bits of the thread. I'd love it, but recovery to the people's Republic would be prohibitive and unfortunately my place in Torbay doesn't have off street parking. Hopefully somebody will rescue it, it deserves a long life. phil_lihp
tooSavvy
I totally transformed my 750 by fitting the ARB off a Y10... Went from 'straight on at wet roundabouts' to 'learry/Miniesque chuckability'... Lacquer Peel
phil_lihp
Just to clarify, yes, the car is in Barnstaple. I had an opportunity to see it in daylight today so grabbed some photos to try and highlight the grotty bits. Driver's sill/floor: Rear, underneath Front wing (no longer attached at the front) Hard to get good photos without it being up on a ramp but hopefully that gives some idea. Underseal is hiding a lot of problems, so I have been told. It's by no means completely knackered but the driver's side sill and floor are pretty bad. Drop me a message if you're interested, I would like to see it go to a good home but one way or another it must go very soon.
purplebargeken
Doesn't look that bad from what I can see but as you say, the underseal may be hiding a lot more. Surely someone can rescue the little beastie. Kringle
phil_lihp
To be honest, those photos are crap but they're as good as I could get, I've not been shown where the rest of the MOT-failure rot is so just trying to show the state of it in general. It does look pretty good in the main but apparently it is not. Also, rotating photos are mildly annoying but at least it doesn't matter too much. Zelandeth
Figure out a way to get it to FOAD's place... he'd have that MOT worthy in about 27 minutes! Jim Bell and oldcars
Alan_Green
Parked next to this in Farnham today. 18,000 miles. FSH with only 200 miles between some of the annual services! Looked minty. Bloke said his pal had just bought it for £800. tooSavvy, Zelandeth, phil_lihp and 1 other
