Pre-86 cars get in free normally but they prefer them to be pre-booked. I'll ring the place near the time with the list we've got.

I can't see anything about timings  just looked and it's open 10am-8:30pm for the starlight bit, just wondering what time we were planning to meet , all day or afternoon into the evening

Oh that's a good point.

Errrrm, no idea! What do people want to do? daytime or the evening stuff or both? I don't mind either way

Bump diddy bump!

Anyone got any opinions on this?

I'm not fussed either way on times so what do people want to do? I suspect I'll get there during the day to have a good look around as I've not been before.

There's also Crich Stand just up the hill, if you want to be pretty much the highest person in the area. Not a huge amount to do but if it's a nice day the views are good and it's a nice spot for a picnic.

It's donations to park, or walkable from either end of the tram lines if you like hills and fresh air. From the town end it's via roads, from the other end there's a gravel footpath.

Only pre 86 car I've got is the not currently roadworthy (or running as of yesterday when the carb silted up again) Invacar. Still the sort of event I'll be looking to get to in future and the tramway is on the list of places I need to visit this time.

Sadly I won't be able to make this as it clashes with an event I'll be attending up in Livingston and I've yet to master the art of being in two places at once.
