purplebargeken
This will be on the road until the end of the month then it'll go back into storage until the i10 gets sold on at the end of April. Nice old bus but parking is a bit of a ball ache round here. Might consider passing it on in the autumn. Possibly.
purplebargeken
Mrs PBK rang me at work to enquire as to why both front windows of the galaxy were fully down, the car was unlocked and why the keys were on the floor of the porch. I had no answer other than I was rushed to get to work after vaxing the front carpet and both seats. No-one nicked anything and the car was still there, so what was the problem eh? Eh? stripped fred
I left my passenger door open in a multi storey car park in Sheffield overnight. No one robbed me although I deserved it.
SiC
Might consider passing it on in the autumn. Possibly.I think you need to see a doctor if your passing it. Especially if you're expecting to wait till the autumn before you can manage it. *BA-DA-BUM-TUSH*

Brodders
Hmm, who knew Edmonton was so safe? There must be method in the madness though, today's weather has been the nicest day this month, so you couldn't have picked a better time. purplebargeken

purplebargeken
I have the window draught excluder things that will need to be fitted, not sure how though. There is a brand new tow bar assembly for the car that can be obtained for a not unreasonable £70 I have a new gear lever gaiter that will come with the car. Front heater control is not operational, everything lights up but no action from the heater system when turned on. The 'hedgehog' is available on eBay and accessed via the glove box. Front cig lighter is not functional, could well be a fuse or the unit itself. haven't looked. Small ding on the lower bit of the drivers door. Small amount of rusty bleb on the rear N/S were the wheel arch joins the sill, nothing major and is easily fixable. Front grille needs to be refitted properly as I had to dislodge it when opening the bonnet. The catch is lovely and smooth in operation, no issues now whatsoever. The car is a first time starter. Ride is comfy squishy if that makes sense. Mileage is 150 odd thou. Location when for sale or roffle will be the barn near Chelmsford. Fabergé Greggs
I really want this. Would you mind insuring it for me whilst paying my ULEZ charges? Much appreciated old bean purplebargeken

purplebargeken
Thanks for that NTB, simple indeed but I'd never had these before so that makes it pretty clear, especially about the clips. I'll pop these on later today then.
purplebargeken
Rear ones went on fine and look good. Fronts are a little too long on the leading edge bit and will need to be trimmed slightly. I shan't be doing that, the new owner can.
purplebargeken
Just pondering the value of this big red bus. All that is left to do is fit the new gear lever gaiter and the not cracked rear panel thingy. Any idea folks?
BorniteIdentity
I honestly think anything with a full ticket is north of £500 atm - especially considering scrap prices. Why not try a £10 raffle? Maybe it’s worth more. Sadly, these are still in ‘Dingle Bus’ territory so not worth serious money atm. But anyone with more children than eyes surely would fancy a pop for £10.

purplebargeken
Hmm, okay. £9.50 per ticket sounds a bit more realistic. Okay, worth a go I guess. I'll sort it at the end of the month, payday and all that as it might be less 'urrgghhh' for most folk at that point. Thanks.
purplebargeken
Just to add that she'll be going to the barn near Chelmsford on Friday, so collekshun would be from there. purplebargeken
It's more of a psychological thing to help encourage other shitters that it is indeed a bit of a billy bargain at £9.50 rather than £10. Might make all of the difference between a roffle frenzy and a roffle wasteland of nothingness.
