320touring
[pedant mode]it's a MK2 phase 1 Clio, not a phase two[/pedant mode] The above is important should you need to order bits:) This looks a lovely thing, and is an actual sensible choice for a fun to drive frugal supermini - good luck with the sale! beko1987
Yes it does feel front heavy, but steering doesn't suffer because of it. I had a close one pushing it on some twisties when up in Aberdeenshire, but a damp road combined with budget tyres (Arrowspeeds I think) didn't help.I had a very hairy drive back following Ghosty in the rover, it shot round corners, I followed and had to slow right down mid corner to not go round it sideways, so it's not a clio thing! RobT
You're right, I've been getting my designations wrong on this one. I tend to think in the earlier Renault way of doing things, as I'd have them all given enough money (80s Renners really do it for me!). 320touring
RobT
SOLD! Lobbed it on autotrader today and a lad and his missus came around this evening and bought it within 10 minutes. Lost a few quid but worth it for an easy sale. Plus they were a nice Polish couple and from my experience Poles are no nonsense and good to deal with. Holding folding... Must not buy anything else though! egg, CGSB, Kiltox and 15 others
