I’ve always wondered about old Italian tin, is there some law that says they all have to be fitted with those stupid unreadable front plates once they’re past a certain age? I mean obviously they were like that in their home country back in the day but I don’t get why it seems they all have to be like that over here as well. It is recorded as imported, so I wonder if it had been registered elsewhere within the R reg period and that original registration date determined the UK plate. All I know is that it's recorded as manufactured in 1998.
