NO.

It's time for this reminder again.

Remember kids, say not to Stomil.

It translates as "100 miles" which is how long they last.

Land sail are currently on the Skoda on one corner and don’t know what’s on the rest. That’s what happens when you buy a wheel and tire for £20 from the nice local scrapyard.

The Achilles - you couldn't make it up! The weakest link in a vehicles safety, comfort and handling is the tyre - both it's condition and quality, so why not name your offering after a well known weakness which led to the downfall of a hero?

I was idly inspecting a slightly shitey looking DAF LF tipper at work (as you do) and noticed some interesting (for a given value of interesting) tyre names that I thought I might disseminate on here...

N/S rear outer was the Double Coin (Not pictured the Fulda on the O/S rear)

N/S front had the Triangle tyre (apparently one of the world's biggest tyre makers)

The O/S front was also a Triangle (going by the triangle emblem) but with the tyre name in forrin.

Another marketing genius at work - lets call a traditionally very round object after a well known pointy one with straight sides. Brilliant.
