From the Jaguar S-Type Owners Group. 2000 Jaguar S Type 4.0 V8, 83k, Jaguar Dealer Service History, Mint Condition. Every optional extra you can imagine. For sale is my gorgeous Jaguar S Type, with the famous Jaguar V8 under the bonnet. Interior: The car is immaculate inside, and with the full black leather and Bronze Madrona wood trim is a gorgeous place to sit. Very classy and typically British, and in my opinion much nicer than the grey or cream interiors. The options and extras on this are genuinely too long to list but the highlights are - Built in Sat Nav - Voice controlled multi zone climate control - Original Jaguar Motorola Built in Phone - Electronic EVERYTHING (Seats with 2 memory settings, steering wheel adjust, rear blind, folding mirrors etc) - Voice controlled 6 CD changer through Jaguar Premium sound system, sounds the nuts. - Heated front and rear screens - Sunroof Yea the list goes on. As I said the interior looks new. Only issue is controls on steering wheel are a bit temperamental, but I’m assured it’s an easy cheap fix for an amateur mechanic (spring behind the steering wheel). Exterior: Stunning dark red/burgundy paint that really sets the car off. Sits on optional 18” BBS Monaco wheels (could do with a refurb, nothing bad just paint peel) wrapped in Pirelli P zeros, loads of tread. Unfortunately, key mark on the passenger side rear door and a small mark on drivers side front wing. Aside from that, the paint is in VERY good condition for its age. I’ve just polished and sealed the car, and gone over all the chrome. As you can see from pics it comes up great, the marks I mentioned previously really only let the car down slightly. Running Gear: Engine and gear box are perfect, nothing a miss at all. Engine is super quiet when pottering around, you cant hear it at all. Put your foot down and there’s a lovely healthy distant rumble as your pushed into the back of your seat. The power under the bonnet is breathtaking. Auto Gear box kicks down lovely when you press on, and is super super smooth. Ride is typically Jaguar, supple and comfortable. Again nothing a miss from what I can gather. Paper work: Service history is comprehensive with Jaguar Dealer stamps up to 78000 Miles. All original factory manuals and paperwork is present, as is the V5. MOT due in March, no reason for it to fail from what I can see. I’ve tried to be as honest as I can here, only bad points I can find are the couple of the bodywork bits (nothing for 17/18 year old car) and the steering wheel controls. The car was £45000 in 2000 and really feels and drives like a fifty grand car. Genuinely only selling as I am buying a motorbike. Asking £2000, will listen to sensible offers, try me. Can’t find a similar spec and mileage in this condition for less. More pics available on request. Contact via Facebook messages or text on 07969183967.
