willswitchengage
Picked up my ebay bicycle from Teddington today, which involved riding back to Marylebone to get my train home. Was impressed to not be the victim of any road rage or knobbish drivers at all, just getting scorning looks instead from other cyclists for not running red lights Saw no end of shite but after the first couple of streets I became too enthused by my new purchase to stop and snap everything I saw. morris_ital_lover
I love crazy threads ... http://passionford.com/forum/restoratio ... resto.html It is worth checking out his "propper" restoration as well... this time he fecks up another MK2 Fiesta. I am somewhat worried that he is entitled to vote....

I'm not sure what the best moment is, the truly borked looking Puma, the first fiesta's body repairs, trading a decent Escort for a truly shit Saxo or the use of cable ties for his exhaust. *(mine excepted as the Morris Ital Lovers were such an integral part of the 1980s USA basketball scene I couldn't let it by ). barrett
Aye, cheers for that Trig. To be fair, you don't need a shirt like that, you've already got the best jumper in the world

trigger
I never told you about the time i had to fill a bottle up (1st IVF treatment) and i forgot to take the lid off on the vinegar stroke, I've never panicked so much before, and my "finished product" was some what lacking... Also thanks for posting that Fiesta link, 2 hours I've spent reading that now when i should be in bed , I'm hardly surprised the Fiesta in the second thread ended up like this either. Pete-M
Thing that's irritating me about that Fiesta link is that the little sod managed to get a pair of what appeared to be immaculate Impreza WRX seats for almost bugger all, and then he welded 'em into a Mk2 Fizzy. Where the hell did he find all the bits? Can't have all been ebay?

gallondrunk
Easy repairs make me grin. I have a mid 90's Goodmans TV in the living room. The picture is great, but the scart and composite inputs went south long ago, so all I've got left is RF. Last week or so there's been lines coming and going across the screen, so I thought the RF was finally going too, which was grump inducing. Sure, a replacement is a case of throwing a tenner on ebay at one, but I like the one I have. Today I just thought I would change out the £2 car boot VCR (which is used essentially as an input/output box for TV and hi-fi) for a fancy Hitachi unit I had stashed but hadn't gotten around to using. Completely fixed, and a better overall picture too

Cable ties are the best thing ever invented i even use them to hold me scooter panels together and talking about bodge jobs i am currently using my 125cc scooter with Sockets as front wheel bearings, its scary but it works
