What makes you grin? Antidote to grumpy thread

I'm in a cockapoo owner group on Farcebook.

Someone posted asking for help on how to stop their cockapoo from licking the penis of their other dog.

Then later it turns another Cockapoo's penis doesn't retract.

Someone suggested putting a bag of frozen peas on it.

Fuck me I've been nearly in tears.

This is particularly hilarious.  This is the Focus that belonged to my other half and went to her Dad just over a year ago.  I noticed that it had a rotten front wing a couple of months back and her Dad has been chuntering on since I spotted it that it wouldn't pass the MOT and has been angling for an old Alfa Romeo or similar 'executive' vehicle.  They also live up a farm track, just to make it even easier.  He isn't really in a position to demand what he gets in a vehicle and every time we've suggested a sensible option he's been obstinate about it and at times been quite rude to the point where we have given up and let him stew for several weeks.

So the fact that the Focus passed is just hilarious and will irritate him no end as he doesn't like driving around in it, especially given that it's a 1.4 poverty-spec and now he won't be able to buy anything because he (fortunately) doesn't control the finances.  It's actually a really sensible car and far more suitable than anything he actually wants, he just won't admit it.

My 83 year old, nearest neighbour (3/4 miles away over a smooth* farm track) has two similar Focus (Focii, Focusses?) one is the daily driver, the other backup. They never die. 06/08 reg or thereabouts.
My quad has trouble getting up to his place and I have no idea how his cars do not just fall apart (they're both maintained/ put through MoT by local garage)

Saw an ambulance 5 or 6 cars back yesterday with blues on. Fairly narrow 2-way road coming up to a stretch where there are always cars parked on the left. Timed it nicely to pull across the mouth of a side road and got thanked by a brief 'whoop' of the siren.

Filled the car with diesel this morning on my way to work at 241,045 miles (and 154.6p per litre, which already was a grin)

Continued to work, a further 51 miles. Arrived at 241,096 miles with a range of 784 miles showing on the computer. This is my first 'economical' car since I was about 18 and I quite like it

Sat in the 2cv this morning in laithwaites car park in Virginia water waiting for it to open ( does that sound bad?), green moggie van( f reg suffix)  goes past , occupants look and wave.

Love stuff like that. I was out this aft and a mk2 escort and a capri went past in convoy. The mk2 was leading, had a full stadium rig on the front and both of them hit all the lights and waved cos I was in an old car as well. Makes you happy!
