I've never done any performance driving or particularly hot cars. As it turned out, I can drive a bit quicker than I thought. 9th overall out of 50 participants on 8 activities. 6th fastest in the F3000 car. Generally 2nd fastest in my group but other groups had some serious drivers in them!

Caterham Pursuit was great fun, a little skid/stunt course. Absolutely bloody bossed it, arse end sideways all the way but under complete control, no idea how! 😁

Not cheap. but a brilliant day out. My employer at the time paid for me to attend a full day in ~2007 and it was brilliant. Caterhams were hands down my favourite, the persuit was brilliant - but all the cars were good in their own way, except the 997 Porsche 911 which was deeply underwhelming in my humble opinion.

Glad its still as good as it was a decade and a half ago, and well done for the final placement, much better than I managed!

A fantastic full day of action, and when you add it up, despite the big price tag it's far better value for money than any other driving experience I know of. The Pursuit was the highlight of my day I think, but the whole experience was just brilliant and every car was top notch. I did have to take a 2nd attempt at the Clio Cup session as the first car went all French on me so had to swap cars.

The M4 presumably takes the place of what was the 911 on your day. A seriously fast car with brakes like you wouldn't believe and good handling, but you can tell it's a heavy beast when the back end swings out and 510bhp escapes as tyre smoke!

I kid you not this exact person posted up yesterday asking for someone cheaper than £200 as they'd put petrol into a diesel 🤦

Said post has obviously disappeared now!

drains been backed up for a month council cleared the leaking out the side through the grass clearly fucked one though sadly didn’t check the rest. Last weekend was spent sorting same stinking shit as stack had blocked up too so no drainage in kitchen.  Council rodded stack though rod went through old copper waste in my flat so had to redo that ripping out boxing and generally fucking up my flat more so, laminate fucked I’m hallway etc. This weekend’s been sorting the stinky shit coming up the storm drain and flooding my garage with sewage water throwing a load of crap away from the garage and making no progress on my bike. Not really a grin thread thing though my mates been around and laughed at me lots which is infectious. Is sure better than crying. Me armpit deep saying I hate my life mate pissing himself laughing all shits and giggles.

Last pic water height is about 6 ft higher than storm drain by garage. Have plugged storm drain with a bag and sand and made a dam to avoid more garage trauma. Waiting on council emergency response to fix. Fingers crossed no more shitty water and fanny rags in my lock up.
I need a wash though suns still out so shall enjoy it.

Some words of advise. Please wash yourself and clothing well. Working in shit is  dangerous and there are a number of diseases which can be caught from working in these environments without protective gear. Also going into an enclosed space without gas monitors and rescue gear with second man at ground level is also not a great idea.

I do not know where you are based. In England (maybe Wales too) the Water Companies were obliged to take over the maintenance of a lot of sewers which were in private ownership. I would check with the water company to see what the status of this sewer network is.

I can see a sanatory pad floating there, maybe a condom. I bet there are a number of ponies too.
