@beko1987 familiar with that

Yup! My entire arch lip fell off eventually! Then when I broke it up for scrap I pulled the interior out as it sold and the entire floor pan was covered in rusty scabs...

I do t think one can buy a puma that's not either A - Living out it's last/2nd to last MOT in style

B - buy cheap then sink a mahoosive weldathon into it fairly sharpish

I'm sure a C-fully restored option does exist but that's alot of money for a Ford fiesta in drag (as fun as they are)

Warmer with you than it is with me then.  -3°c this morning.  and I cycled in to the office.

It dropped to just below freezing over night. I kept the roller door open all night near my machine, I was getting some right filthy looks 🤣

Charlie was in tears when it fell down (ffs bless etc) so overjoyed when I went and found 2 little stool sized ones, another for maybe a footrest if I plane a flat into it  and I dunno what we'll do with the big one... Amy then came and picked them up and asked for 2 more to fall into her car for the kids guenie pigs (sp)

Either way Charlie is happy as we have some of the tree.

Managed to convince someone that Volvo V70s used 40W Edison fitting light bulbs for the headlights.

the hilarious thing is in a lot of old trams they literally did :) (well Edison screw on the continent, bayonet cap over here, but most generally where genuinely 40W bulbs LOL)

I'm getting better at this bread making.  This one looks like an actual proper loaf.  It's only slightly cheaper than buying an equivalent loaf from the shop, and much less convenient, but I'm really enjoying the process and seeing my breads improve with each one I do.

I agree re the price/hassle conundrum, however - this is well worth a try and makes the best white bread I've ever eaten

https://www.jamaicancookery.com/2011/06/jamaican-hard-dough-bread-recipe.html

We're lucky in that my local Sainsburys stocks Sunrise Bakery breads - the hardough is good and the Spiced bun is amazing, but for my money this is a better end result than even Sunrise' hardough. Fresh out the oven with butter and marmite is sublime, even several day old and stale its brilliant with some soup.

It's not the convenience, it's the knead to learn a skill you are after...

Just got a thank you wave from an ambulance driver, for holding up the traffic behind me so he could overtake the queue approaching me. Then two thumbs up from drivers in said approaching queue. I iz chuffed.

We need more of this sort of thing tbh.Like the double beep a lit up police van gave me when I pulled over to let him pass in town the other night.He may of been late for tea break tho'.🤣.
