Negative Creep
Still getting demands from a debt collection agency demanding £80 for not taxing a car I sold over 18 months ago. Having done some research they don't have a leg to stand on as you cannot demand money without a court order. After telling them I will entertain no further correspondence they're still at it, but have been kind enough to include a pre addressed envelope with every demand. So I'm taking a small amount of satisfaction by mailing them back junk mail, minus the stamp
retrogeezer
Need a new water pump for the escrote as the pulley has a bit of play in it....my mate got me a price from Ford - £76 retail and he could get me one for £46 with his discount. I just won a genuine motorcraft old stock one on ebay for £20 posted. Just hope I can get the bolts out that hold the old one on!

Angrydicky
Seeing an absolutely hanging FSO CARO pickup trundling through Crays Hill this afternoon, loaded up high with scrap metal and an enormous queue of traffic building up behind it

dollywobbler
On Tuesday, I saw a manky Transit pick up with a VW Passat estate (Y plate I think) hanging off the back of it! Would have stopped for a pic, but was impossible at the time sadly.
pogweasel
I doubt that any self-respecting pikey would be knocking about in an fso, round here you can spot em a mile off, brand new cage-sided transits are de rigeur.Must be a brave non-travelling man to try and gather metal around there though. At best they'll end up sans vehicle and teeth...
Cavcraft
Kev from Wales has just been up, if there's a more toppermost dude on the interwebz I've yet to meet him. His Iveco powered hillbilly (F150?) pick-up is something else too.
Angrydicky
Around here they mostly use Transits as well, but very ropey old F-P reg ones. Although there is one who knocks around Southend in a W reg MK2 Transit pickup! I agree the FSO was a bit of an oddity. It was the same colour as this one, but with steel sides and I think the radiator grille was missing as well. And yeah it was literally on the main road outside Dale Farm. seth
I saw a Bristol parts van heading in the direction of Kensington High Street this morning, bearing the Bristol logo and signwritten with something like 'manufacturers of fine automobiles'. It was a mk4 Escort van. Just thought I'd share that.
