Same with Japanese cars to be fair - about 10 years ago I had a G reg Accord which still had ice cold aircon. (It also had cruise control, electric windows all round, a sunroof and a 150bhp 2-litre 16v engine, and went like f**k. I should have kept that car, but my inability to find a replacement for the dodgy ABS pump meant I couldn't get it through a test.)
