Do you want to see what a kitchen waste pipe made of electrical tape looks like?  I bet you do.photo_2019-12-19_14-23-29.thumb.jpg.a7154f22d40f37a05a50a12cf978a0cf.jpg Astonishingly, it doesn't leak, the backboard of the cupboard has instead been ruined by a leak from something else that isn't leaking any more.

My rcz had a coolant return pipe made of that because was I fuck paying about £40 for a small plastic pipe that needed about 8 other things removing to change. It was fine for about a year.

It probably started leaking the day I traded it in.

Although given the clutch was chattering it's tits off a pipe wrapped in leccy tape was the least of it's worries.

Local Land Rover specialist has rocked up at the garage across the road. Their courtesy car/work hack? A Jeep...

They obviously know their product. I'm more concerned that my local Citroen garage has a C6 as their courtesy shuttle. "Sorry, can you get the bus?"

Went with my brother in his Weird Wagon to Caffeine and Machine today. It was quiet being Christmas Eve but some good coffee and some great metal in the car park. Highlight for me being the Clio v6, I’ve always wanted to see/hear one in person - Merry Christmas to me

Can see it being really worth a visit when there’s an event on.

On Sunday evening, after I had finished prodding cars so was about 8pm, I decided I needed to buy a new aux belt and tensioner for the newly acquired Discovery 300TDi. The last parts I bought (for the Disco 2 TD5) I ordered on ebay from a seller who calls themselves LR-trade-parts-uk and was so impressed with quality and service I thought I would use them again. Order placed at 8pm, hoping it would arrive sometime between Christmas and New Year, but not bothered when it arrived. Today, at 1755 DPD delivered the parts.

Outstanding service by both the seller and DPD, both highly recommended. Might fit them tomorrow.......
