cobblers
Picked up the wrong aerosol to spray on stuff when trying to get a fitting out of a casting with a hot air gun. I wasn't using "fire" so wasn't being careful. Massive fireball, no hair left on either arm, my 5 oclock shadow and nose hairs were wiped out, but thanks to my glasses, other than a sore face I'm unscathed. Learned a lesson. Need a haircut! richardmorris, catsinthewelder, myglaren and 16 others 10 7

Every new car I'm forced to endure sees me remark how intolerable the seats are, with the only exception being a 2012ish Renault Clio which had some sort of memory foam thing going on that was quite nice... then instantly spoiled by the massively reflection prone 'smart panel' or whatever that occupied the whole middle third of the dashboard. I have bite my tongue when getting into moderns... "yes this 2019 i3 is lovely, yes, mmmmm" whilst all the time I'm just thinking how nicer the zx seats are, and their not exactly great unless sitting on exactly the right cog in the adjuster... Its also difficult to engage in conversation about auto lights and stuff when I turn mine on subconsciously most of the time, I already have dab and mp3, don't drive far enough to really need cruise control, can't help but notice the orange peel on the paint or that it's been washed by a brush... Been there, done that! ? I’ve heard the album before, but never had the actual record. I need to dig out my Betamax and watch Les Patterson Saves the World and The Adventure of Barry McKenzie again! inconsistant
My razor broke and now the blades won't stay on. It's a grin rather than a grump because it's my Gillette Sensor razor that I bought in 1992 and it's more worn out than broken. I've been buying Sensor Excel blades for years because they stopped doing Sensor blades it's that out of date. I've upgraded to a Mach 3 razor so now I've got an unopened pack of 10 Sensor Excel blades that cost £12 and four other unused blades (see below) any one want them for £10 posted? Send me a message if interested.

dozeydustman
About an hour ago one of my work colleagues knocked on the door and presented me with a 1 litre bottle of Mount Gay rum he'd bought back from seeing his parents in Barbados. Mrcento
Just heard a horrendous noise.. sounded like somebody trying to drive a car on 3 wheels, 1 entire corner on the ground, sparks flying and all. Looked out the window. I was right. A white corsa. one rear wheel folded up into the arch. I admire the determination to get home and all.... but ffs, some things just need parked. ? paulplom, clayts450 and stonedagain 1

paulplom
I went for my 1st ever eye test yesterday at 47. I've been using pound shop plus 1.5 glasses to read, computer etc. £30 later and he said your long sight is perfect and you need 1.5 glasses to read. The grin is that there are no health issues and the structure and everything else is bob on. It's a big relief for me to know. I've never been to the doctors for around 12 years. shedenvy, myglaren, stonedagain and 1 other
