Andyrew
Rung one of the local factors for a front spring for a c3 xtr today . Usual questions expected but was asked if it had a sunroof , how random is that !I've asked that question a few times to people The springs for a pluriel model are higher rates. Due to the weight of all that detachable roof crap.

Andyrew
Indeed it was, a simple time for choices of parts. Unless it was French. Today whilst sorting wiper stock I found 4 valeo vm6 rear blades. They fit XM's and xantias only with some offset pin mount design. Maybe one day someone will buy one!

busmansholiday
Spotted these two signs oh holiday. Which reminded me of this one I came across on an audit of one of our French sites a few years ago. For some reason the management didn't wish to discuss the reason they needed it around the back of one of the production buildings.

Parky
I have a massive file to copy and paste into another. It’s a list of about a quarter of a million phone numbers! The file isn’t on excel so I can’t just select and copy the column, it’s on notepad for some reason (some people think it is cutting edge, Ho hum) so I need to sit here holding shift and page up. For a long time. Got bored with that so in true autoshite fashion I came up with a cheap engineering fix. One bolt on the shift key, another on the page up key, and a phone resting on each to maintain the pressure. I can now sit and watch The Protectors instead! Exiled_Tat_Gatherer
Import it into Excel...... set delimiter and bosh. On a 'couldn't get the phone out fast enough' moment. A gen-yew-whine Bugatti Veyron just trundled past. Surprisingly quieter than I'd have thought....... but great to see it being used on a normal road by some guy who obviously is winning at something. Bobthebeard
Using the 1993 Rhonda 416 as a daily since starting my new job last week.Hard to actually put into words, but using the car properly as a daily work car rather than just as a 'hobby car' is liberating and refreshing. Light, agile and eager as a puppy. It has everything it needs and nothing it doesn't! Great visibility due to the large areas of glass, easy to drive and park, large boot for tools etc, key opens doors and locks them again without plips and battery worries, incredibly easy to drive due to aforementioned lightness and lack of the physical size and bulk of modern cars. Am left wondering if progress has been made at all in the overall useability of cars since the 1990's.Safety? Possibly, but anything else is a "maybe" IMHO.Even actually winding down the windows manually isn't actually that difficult. I know what I am trying to say... anonymous user
A former colleague was once overtaken,in his Volvo Amazon, by his powerboat on its trailer, before it did similar on Cowbridge Road in Cardiff.
