That's unlucky. They are just about to de-criminalise non-payment of license fee. changing it to to a civil matter like a parking ticket.

I have found a load of my Dad's old Buff logbooks. That's what I call family history!

attachicon.gifIMG.jpg

That's excellent. My 1959 Austin A35 (640TMP) was also registered new by Middlesex CC, and I also have the original logbook for it. Five years on, the stamps used for the registrations and tax stamps were obviously the same ones.

4 hours 10 minutes from Manchester to Shrewsbury? Did you go via Carlisle and Glasgow or something?

For real, today in Matalan car park that was otherwise about 1/3rd full. Yes, she left it in the only road through the car park, locked it up and fucked off shopping. All Vauxhalls etc...

Also that Russian bird has probably done half the politburo to get that job, knowing what gender equality is like in Russia.

That's all I have of this one I'm afraid.

Anyone who needs to witness more FSO action must bombard  CYANIDE STEVE  with spam, demanding a return to the forum and an update from FSO Cars UK, and a photo-rich build thread for this Caro. I know he has the pictures, he brought along an old-school photo album with snaps of every step. He went in balls-deep on this one, and the effort shows.

Yeah I was wondering what happened to him and his FSO dealership plans.

Force him at gunpoint to upload the photos.

I've sent Steve a nudge via email. Not quite 'gunpoint'; gently does it, he's a sensitive soul.

I think he has news on the folded-for-storage Polonez Truck for you too.

Update: I've had a positive response from Steve, so keep your peepers peeled. :)

Today I found one of the front wiper blades on the C'eed had split.  Popped across the road to Halfords, a pair of own brand front aero blades: £45!

Ebay: £5, free delivery.

They're probably no top-end high quality item but if they can last 11 months or so til the car goes back I'll be happy.

Mr.Charles Irwin's 'Bolt-Grips' made me grin today... They're bloody expensive, but what an absolutely amazing tool they are ! Every 'shitter should have a set in their toolbox !

Going out for a drive in the VRS, it's been a while since I have not given a damm that I can't push on while driving a quick car (Datsun excepted as that makes a cool noise however slow you go) and just enjoyed the flow of what traffic is there. Though the odd clear patch of road I got went by very quickly. Also one person in a 52 plate Focus obviously clocked what I was in and hadn't seen one before as once he caught up when I stuck to the limit entering Brum then he tailed me for a while before buzzing on.

I'll also add that I saw a black 3 door Vauxhall Chevette when driving back into Birmingham, haven't seen one of those as a random road spot for years.
