RobT
The way a Mini should look. Triumph 2000 I think, up on bricks. A trio of tat. I've seen the Espace and Inshite before in Penge. This was Catford so the lad must have moved. Check out the anti- this, that and the other stickers... Class. More class. K plate GLX for egg. Patina. RobT
Norwich spots when I was on Buick collection duties. Believe it or not, these two 2.8 Ghia Xs were unrelated, a couple of miles apart. Next lot are Margate/Westcliffe way. 3 and 5 door, compare and contrast. Best spot by some margin, and I nearly bloody missed it. BMC bilge to bookend this post. davocano, egg, inconsistant and 6 others

egg
I think so. I can go back and check if you like! Looks to be Alberto Green like my old one, so must be...(alberto green only came with Pumice interior). Having scrapage regrets!
RobT
Seeing a Cavalier in the wild always gives me a warm feeling. One of my favourites so far this year, spotted when I was out pottering in the 11. Rover botherer. Another gr9 almost missed it spot. HMC
Great spots as ever. London and environs seem still be a chod goldmine. RobT

RobT
It would normally but this one has a tow bar in the way...ideal car for loading elderly dogs, as they don't have to step up far.
wuvvum
Where I lived in the mid-'80s a woman a few houses up had a black B-plate Cavalier L 1.6D estate, I imagine it being utterly miserable to drive, but ideal for the Irish setters she bred. RobT
Time for a small update. The first few are from my French trip, and are repeats from my Cav thread. Assuming this 14 is solid, I reckon Skizzer should make the journey and try to charm the owner in to selling. Back on home soil, I posted pics of the Inshite and Espace last month in a different location. But the lad is back in Penge and has got Inshite x2 and two Avantimes. Photos not great but they're all there. Dream garage material below... Back down to earth. French plates but in Crystal Palace. Still in service. egg, brownnova, Skizzer and 4 others
Skizzer
You utter git Rob, I’ve only just managed to get the dry cleaning done after the last time you showed me that green R14. That early 928 is ULTRAHOT too. mk2_craig and RobT
RobT
Another trip to Sketchleys for you then... The 928 looks a bit wobbly in the sill department, but it never ceases to amaze how some folk are willing to park such desirable chod on busy streets. All credit to them for doing so. RobT
This is due an update. Gaffer FTW French intermarche spot As above. Taken from my Cav's rear view mirror. Pimlico. 500 yards from home. Southsea juxtapose. Streatham pair. 320touring, vulgalour, EssDeeWon and 9 others
RobT
Rank Fester. East Dulwich. Nice wheels. On the ferry to Calais Denmark. Sweden. V6 no less, and it worked... Native Chuffed to spot this Senator whilst driving past at 50. Had to go back obviously. vulgalour, Schaefft, egg and 7 others
RobT
Just a few to add from October up to the year end. Hanging yet wonderful in Stow-on-the-Wold. This pair were also in the Cotswolds. Piss wet in Pimlico. I got soaked that day. Could've done with a brolly, but a fairly decent haul was had. On the M20, London bound. Italy or Bust it says on the back. Fair play to them. A stickered up yellow modern Mini was following as back up, but still. They made it home. Ripple effect on the bottom, pop rivets elsewhere. A++. Brixton spots to finish. OK it was being used in a poncy context, but still good to see it. I ran to get this. I must've looked a right nutter. Immaculate low miler. Shame they'll have sell it, or stump up for the ULEZ. Appalling photo, but no question over what it is. Interesting* fact. A CX GTi lives 100 yards away from this shot, in that block of flats. Same road. Some pop ups to finish. HMC
Great spots, that drizzle Fiat 126 one is an arty magazine pic if ever I saw one. RobT
wuvvum
I wonder how many more battered CXs there are lurking around the streets of London? egg
RobT
Hopefully quite a lot. It was an H plate so a late one, and on C5 VTR alloys I think.
RobT
I think I'll try monthly spotting updates this year, even if it is only one or two. January involved a trip to Bordeaux, so not every month will be this exotic*. I only bothered because of the beige. Didn't know three door Cherokees were a thing. 11s seem rare over there now, as I've only seen one other in recent years. Saw several 205s. Max zoom deployed for this Renault 8, as driving plus tricky place to stop. Back in the UK. Something nice to look at from my office. This Trafic is a wob fest close up. Barely done 500 miles in five years, yet has been MoTd every year. Wonder if it's someone's home. davocano, Angrydicky, Spottedlaurel and 6 others
RobT
February and March lumped together. Hastings old town, by the fish huts. The XJ40 is always there when I'm in Hastings, so I assume it belongs to a volunteer on the miniature railway. Miscellaneous south London spots. I've 'done' this DS before, but no harm doing it again. This Capri is probably my favourite February spot. Heavy brake dust deposits and pissed exhaust make it. adw1977, egg, Joey spud and 7 others
RobT
North Wales when I collected the Saab from brownnova. Back down south. Just a hint of chequer plate. Back to Wales again. Pembrokeshire. Old dog and an 18 year old collie. I'll end with March's spot of the month. Can't see me topping this in the coming months...another London gem. holbeck, Joey spud, inconsistant and 12 others
barrett
Great update as usual. I saw that Saab a few years ago, looks like it hasn't moved since. Your photo is a bit* better, too davocano, egg, RobT and 1 other
Skizzer
Fabulous spots. I’m sure I’ve papped or at least seen that red E28 520i before, but I can’t find a picture so maybe I just saw it. April spottings are going to be a bit thin, I fear, but we have faith in you. RobT

RobT
Once recovered from covid (although my sense of taste and smell still haven't fully returned one month on) I used the daily permitted exercise to go spotting in the badlands of SE London. Driving though, for added laziness and to cover more ground. Better for social distancing too. Hasn't moved for a while. Stunning. Old Money giffer I reckon. In the right colour and on crossplies. Metros are worryingly rare nowadays. I don't do notes under the windscreen, but would for this. No doubt be too expensive anyway. davocano, danthecapriman, Shite Ron and 6 others
RobT
Different day. Fuggin' hell. I bet this lad is popular with the neighbours. Daimler full of puddin, and there were two Silver Shadows out of shot. Sans MoT for a while but still parked on street. Hopefully no one notices... Rare to see a Sierra as part of the urban landscape these days. I daren't get any closer as flats were overlooking. Classy. Spottedlaurel
Some great stuff there Rob. How has the poor old SAAB survived like that? Well done on getting a French trip in before the lockdown, don't know if we'll make it this year.... RobT
RobT
A more salubrious part of town today, but still with chod. An S124 earning its keep. Painter decorator judging by the rear bumper. Or just some messy sod. Another workhorse. Best spot of the day by far. Six-cylinder, HMC, LightBulbFun and 15 others
RobT
One more small batch. There's me saying Sierras are rare on street... End with the best. Hemmed in by moderns, poor thing. inconsistant, Steviemillar, wuvvum and 13 others
