RobT
Update time. Time lapse AX. 9th March then 16th May. Hasn't been taxed and tested for yonks either. Another garden find. Has a valid MoT surprisingly. Smart Tipo on Alfa wheels. Piss poor lane discipline all round. Low millage Espero, only 41,000 at the last MoT. Espace with LP. Very yellow Saxo Minor van being used for 'stuff'. Looks like a slice of wob has departed from above the rear arch! Cav dizzler. Worthy of two pics because I like them. Interesting one. An Audi A8 pickup. The old boy on the left was similarly bemused. Expired MoT on this XJ-S. It's fucked (possibly). RobT
Small selection of tat seen on trips to France this year. BX laden with trinkets. Lovely 21. First one I've seen over there in a while. 20 sans terrorists. Although armed police were just around the corner, not sure why... M'coli
I'd not seen this thread before last night, there's some splendid chod in it! My top picks are the blue (in places) Fiat 127 and the blue A-series Metro with the Turbo front wheel and aftermarket cross-spokes on the back. RobT
Now I've got your attention, time for some updates. I'll start with the more mundane. Pog-pink Corsas within 200 yards of eachother. Sticker shite. Too clean for an off-roader. Mind you not many green lanes in Brixton... First time I've seen this BX, despite being on my manor. What would you do with this? Mobile ping pong table? Tidy Mk5. Nice alloys just a few degrees out from being plumb. Toledo SE. I spotted this Hart to Hart before when it was F cold in March covered in snow. Now it's sporting UK plates. Stiletto on the move. One of the best car names EVAR. Lots of men looking, and so they should. Two lazy sat in car spots. I'm not good at dating moss, but I'd say it looks older than the 2010 MoT expiry suggests. I need to go back and check out this Carlton properly. It woz mint. Finally, two very different looking Bristols. A lovely 411 Series 3. Must be one of the last being on a P. I hung around for a bit as I wanted to talk to the owner, but then bottled it. I've seen this 412 a few times. Sounds gr9 burbling along. Internet says it'll be a Chrysler B-series 6.2 V8, seeing as it's a relatively early one, but I'm happy to be proved wrong. RobT
This deserves a post all to itself. Perfect. The lady who drives this is a gilt-edged winner. Skizzer
Brilliant spots. Love that coffee coloured Bristol. RobT
Just a few autumnal delights. This is a bit of a cheat, as there's a classic friendly garage across the road. Must belong to a customer. I almost missed this. Had to crouch down and pretend to tie the laces on my slip-on work loafers, as the top section of the gates are blanked off (to stop riff-raff like me taking a nosey no doubt). Shame about the rogue trim. Still in service. This used to look much better with raised digit plates, pitted chrome etc.. The owner has ruined it and had it restored. adw1977, Magnificent Rustbucket, egg and 3 others

RobT
To alleviate the boredom of Boxing Day I went for a drive and a stroll. Late plate Cav. Best photo I could get, as giffers were lurking. This was superb. Roof rack aside, it had pitted chrome and a correct ride height. The rear seats were also folded down so it must be used for hauling stuff. Possibly expensive antiques, as it was not far from poncy Blackheath. This trumped it though. Spot of the day by far. Loads of period trinkets too. Utterly fantastic. mercrocker, Skizzer, Joey spud and 7 others

RobT
I had a little trip to Belgium last weekend, Ypres to be exact, and did a few spots. There would have been more but I was heavy with cold so couldn't be bothered walking too much. The hotel was good, and the car park content exceptional (I'm referring to the 305, my slightly shonky Cav lowered the tone a bit). Mooching around I heard some old car noise going on behind me, just managed to catch this. The dizzler lump was audible above the clattering of the empty trailer. LWB H van. lesapandre
A Renault Master - these are a great steer with a commanding driving position and great slogging petrol or diesel engine mounted inboard between the front seats. Still quite a few in France but the new tighter CT (MoT) may be weeding numbers because they do like to rust. Now's the time to buy one cheap - you will need a welder probably! Though quite a few very tidy fire and ambulance versions with miniscule mileage knocking about on Le Bon Coin. They do about 60mph flat out. Come in a short wheelbase version which is a bit handier. Nice van and a tenth of the price of a Citroen H. LightBulbFun

RobT
A 20 minute lunchtime stroll in Streatham Hill yesterday yielded a good haul. I have a thing for estates without roof bars. The front wings were completely shot, sharp edges FAIL (needs gaffer tape). Giffer trinket mirrors. 525 with superb trimz. Rather you than me m8. First thing I spotted was also the pick of the day (for me anyway). Spottedlaurel, Magnificent Rustbucket, egg and 3 others
Magnificent Rustbucket
You don't see many 525is, I guess people either bought a 525e or a 528i. These full size stainless steel wheel trims were only fitted to the pre-facelift E28 525i in the UK (though in some markets the 528i also got them), with the 520i and 525e getting smaller stainless hubcaps and the 528i being fitted with multispoked alloys with 195 tyres. Most 528i owners seemed to upgrade to the TRX wheels (200/60VR390) though which were not an expensive option on the 2.8.
