RobT
Since I got a smartphone last year (I’m well behind the times, I know) I’ve been doing more spots. So here’s another spotting thread for your viewing pleasure. Many of these are already in ‘Lazy Spotters’, but in reality aren’t lazy as I’ve spent a bit of time and effort finding the majority. My manor is a specific corridor of south London (Brixton out to Beckenham area) so most are around here, with some out of town tat thrown in. Chronology is random, as is the type of spot. You’ll find the odd modern i.e. post-2000 if I’ve deemed it worthy of a photo. Enough waffle, now the content. Garden chod. Various lunchtime spots. GR9 Cortina. Remove the street furniture and it could be 1992 or whatever. This was lovely. Looked original what with the seams showing on the front wings, but I'm sure it isn't. This was a lazy spot as it was opposite my work More to follow. michael t, Zantimisfit, davocano and 25 others
RobT
Out of town spots. Three from the Isle of Sheppey. A spring tide plus wob form a winning combination. For the yank fanciers. MEGA I need to accumulate foreign spots, I've only got a few so far. Autobianchi A112 in Montepulciano, Italy. Frenchies, Saint-Valery-sur-Somme. Fiat Albea near Geneva. egg, Angrydicky, michael t and 17 others

RobT
More local spots. Matra Murena. Now gone sadly, but hopefully to someone who will fix and use it. Pogweasel'd Bill Maynard Zoom deployed for this poorly shot P6 as Men were lurking. 740, Caribbean style. I've seen this on the move and it runs like an absolute bag of shit, massively lumpy idle and farting exhaust! RobT
^ That fiat is a car I never knew existed (until very recently) sone great spots Rob. T'was a new one on me too. Apparently it wasn't sold in Western European markets, but was manufactured in Turkey as well as Brazil I think.

RobT
One more random batch and that's me done for now. 504 stunnah. Penge hand painted winner. Grim. I always love it when you see stuff like this to lower the tone of a largely posh neighbourhood. This is in snooty West Dulwich. Multi-shite spot. This was when I owned the roffle Safrane. egg, Zantimisfit, Skizzer and 17 others

mk2_craig
Great stuff! Those Chevette estates are a rare sight in any condition nowadays, I love how those driveway ornaments have managed to hang onto existence for so long. HMC
Good work Rob. There's something I really like about on-street London chod.Agreed, there seems a bigger disparity than anywhere else between those keeping up appearances/ flashing the cash and those that don't give a fuck (though may if they wished to have any new car they liked) SierraMikeHotel, RobT and egg
RobT
Indeed, there's plenty of folk in London who have no choice but to run old stuff. I often knock the place but the diversity, both automative and cultural, helps to keep me here. Lethargy also plays a big part of course! tu te gares comme une chatteLoLZ. Exactly what I thought when taking the pic....although I'm sure no one in a shiny new modern dare park near it.

RobT
Some of those photo's looked like Herne Hill and surrounds? When I lived in Camberwell, the roads around Loughborough Junction were teeming with shite Yep, my lunchtime spotting sessions are generally around there as I walk up from Brixton to Herne Hill and get the train back. In the summer when work slacks off I'll take longer lunch breaks and go further afield, as I'm running out of stuff to document! egg
egg
Pimlico would be worth a look, and again a tube back. RobT

Skizzer
Since I got a smartphone last yearJudas! Cracking spots. The Commer (alright, Dodge) van and Sunny is my favourite. RobT
RobT
Is that Fiat basically a booted Punto? According to the internet it's a booted version of the Fiat Palio, which in turn was based on the Uno chassis with engines from the Punto. WOULD, looks rather neat. egg and Nyphur
