No, but CIMOS DAK / Geri is

https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cimos_DAK_/_Geri

It was supposedly so much better than then-current Arcadiane, that Citroen threw the toys out of the pram. They banned CIMOS from exporting it, stopped the delivery of CKD kits, canceled the contract with CIMOS and developed C15 in response.

Thank you, too.

Long story, but I ended up with the one of the two that doesn't have a window. I'm actually not at all bothered really, means I don't have to deal with sunlight reflecting off of my monitors or fucking up the lighting if I'm filming with the greenscreen!

Hope it works for you.  Don't be shy in asking the management company to change the bulbs if the temperature isn't right.  When my last company went into REGUS in Cambridge we began with an internal office.  No daylight, and too small.  I joked, daily, that it was like an interrogation room and eventually we ended up with a corner office.  It was pretty bleak at times.

Worth getting an anglepoise with 'SAD BULB' in it too? Nice daylight colour?

just be aware of the Kruithof Curve when your fitting high Colour temperature lamps

as the excerpt I have screenshotted from the excellent lamptech.co.uk website states, so few people actually pay attention to it, so will badly light a room with 6500K bulbs and everything looks cold and depressing as fuck

Hi @reb, congratulations on the new space - hope it works well for you. Others more knowledgeable than I am have commented on choices for light bulbs but I'd like to comment on sunlight. Feel free to discard the following if you feel it's irrelevant/I'm talking out of my arse etc.

Different people react differently to lower/little levels of natural light. For some it can affect mood and for others it can disrupt their circadian rhythm which in turn can impact appetite and sleep patterns. Just something to be aware of as the days get shorter, you could end up commuting each way in the dark and spending all day working under artificial light in your office. If it's not freezing or pissing it down maybe try and get out of the office and go for a 20 minute walk at lunchtime? I find I'm more productive in the afternoon if I've been for a walk in the middle of the day. All the best with it.

Worth a read if you like that sort of thing - the reader comments are particularly bizarre.

They are the usual Guardian style.

I'd take the Cortina because it's the nearest equivalent to a Stellar 😀 and much more likely to find one.

Seems we share the same good news. MOT pass for the van today. Exhaust skin and heatshield were loose, but mr MOT very kindly walked past with his grinder and fixed that before the test ended. So a pass with just an advisory on tyres.

Well done on the van pass - my Caddy's back box exhaust skin fell off about 4 years ago, the inner bit is still going strong, just an advisory on the last 4 MOT's for 'corrosion on exhaust back box', meh, I'll wait till it falls off/starts blowing.

Yep the tester seemed pretty inexperienced but I'm not sure whether it's worth getting a second opinion now his opinions are already on record...

Use of the dangerous RfR instead of major defects seems a bit over the top to me, surely holey sills aren't going to "adversely affect braking or steering"

Yeah I think I've been unlucky here - the previous experienced tester seems to have been replaced with a very young and overly enthusiastic new guy. I've always readily accepted  the verdict in the past, but this feels over the top to me. Still, what can you do once it's on record..?

Currently weighing up my options between getting a quote for welding, or just using some man maths to justify getting something newer 🙂

On Antibiotics for a really productive cough.

I had to attend the walk in centre - I explained this was normal for me at this time of year - the nurse told me unless I was crackling I wouldn't be getting Antibiotics.

When I am like this I am crackly and my breathing is poor - I was given doxycline.

Huge shout out to Widnes urgent care centre - I walked in just before 9am and left with medication  at 1020 am.

Yeah, if there are holes in the sills it's probably a moot point as to which exact fail criteria was selected 😅

Did he say why was he unable to test the brake performance?

Because of the "dangerous" corrosion - car may fold into bits if the brakes are used (I drive the car every day and so far it has not imploded...)

I've just booked my xmas delivery from Sainsburys. I'll nip into Loughborough tomorrow & buy all my presents & cards. The sooner I can get all the gifts wrapped up, and all the cards written & into adressed envelopes, the sooner I'll be able to start planning how I can avoid getting involved in anything festive. Cards & packets in the post on the first of December & I'll be done with all the fun & cheer for another year.

Shouldn't there be yellow crayon on where the rusty holes are to get an idea of how bad it is?

If an overly enthusiastic tester, it might only be very minor holes that might not look as bad if cleaned up and rounded out to look like a drain hole 😅

What he has put down for the corrosion is word for word straight out of the Mot defect categories, the part you cannot see online unless you are a tester. Selecting this then gives the option of adding the area which comes up automatically then the comments about the seal holes have been added.

May just be a lack of understanding or correct  interpretation.
