LightBulbFun
ah yes the exact sort of shape you want to see your lightbulb containing parcel to be in... amazingly said lightbulb inside survived the ordeal and works lovely given this was shipped to me via Evri/My Hermes, I guess I should be thankful it even arrived at all... wesacosa, Lacquer Peel, richardmorris and 5 others 7

The water pump for my S210 came via Evri earlier this week, and I was pleased* to see they're carrying on the Hermes tradition of jumping up and down on every package they deliver, the box was absolutely fucked 🤣

Currently having a royal battle with them over a package they've lost of mine. They're claiming it was delivered...and have photographic evidence of that. Except the photograph is of the parcel being handed to a black guy next to a red front door...all of us in this house are white enough to pass as vampires, and nobody on our street has a red front door...however they are simply remaining adamant that "The parcel was delivered." richardmorris

HMC
Watching an Invacar auction on e bay, very interesting. It’s at almost 5k at the mo; I had no idea what they were worth. Then again ‘microcars’ do go for strong money, especially In Europe so maybe I shouldn’t be suprised. Could be bound for the continent, or maybe an AC completist? richardmorris
Not really car related, apart from a drive up to oxford and back, but my 10year old niece is impressed with my balancing skills. Rust Collector
I did some car washing today, the Lada first as it’s not had a wash in my ownership: With all the rust and chipped paint it’s hard to see an improvement, but at least you don’t get dirty hands from touching it now, just tetanus. More satisfying was washing the E320 CDI, as it was plastered in general diesel filth and road dirt: That should scare the neighbours a bit less now. Best result of the day is that my partner has driven the E Class and has declared that she loves it! There’s still a few little bits to sort and more tidying to be done, but at least she can start using it now. I'll stick to my diesel banger... After the 940 let us down the day before the holiday we ended up taking the wife’s EV on holiday to Devon last summer. Absolutely no problem at all, no issues charging and cost a quarter of the money it would have cost in petrol. brownnova
The TransSport has been laid up since October as it started misfiring in September, and it was really too bad to attempt going far. Knowing it was coming off the road for winter anyway I didn’t bother investigating thinking I’d leave it til spring. Today I put a few litres of fresh fuel and some injector cleaner in, and wondered if it would start… quick go of the boost pack and away he fired first time. No misfire when cold, but the warmer it gets the more it misfires. I’m guessing coil or leads Does the hive mind agree? Its parked in the same spot as my old 900 was… and seems to have inherited the same furry friends… They didn’t nibble anything in the engine bay last time… I hope that’s the case again this time! Schaefft
I guess heat indicates coils going bad? Plug wires are easily measured for differing resistance. brownnova
Zelandeth
Spark would be my thought. A lean mixture needs a hotter spark to ignite, so if it's weak it will worsen as the engine warms up and the mixture is leaned out.
