EDIT:  ANG do retaining washers with associated springs and pins for an MG B that look if not identical, then at least very similar, and they're not hilariously overpriced.  At least the stuff I've bought from ANG in the past has always been decent quality.

It might be a good idea to check the length of the new retaining pins before buying the kit. I bought a new spring set supposedly suitable for our Maxi and the pins were about 5mm too short. The rest of the kit was OK but I had to reuse the old pins, which fortunately were in reasonable condition.

@Slowsilver since it's just the washers I need - the springs and pins seem like they'll go another round yet, though I'd prefer to put new ones in if I could find any - that's not too much of a concern at least.  Providing the washers are the correct diameter.

@SiC that's the plan.  No point trying to save the hose since it's going in the bin.

32 here in the highlands of North Wales. Loving it!

I managed 3 hrs work this morning then gave up, spent most of the afternoon on a hammock.

You could almost play rugby with these petrol cans

38 here at the moment, was 39 earlier.  The house is coping surprisingly well though - it's probably nearly 15 degrees cooler in here than out there, I've just got a little USB fan going and I'm fine.

About 32 in Tavistock, my house has huge thick walls and is partly built into a cliff so it’s nice and cool in the lower floors. Old school “tech”

I work in a Georgean Manor House with big windows and that was hot; ironically we are having air con installed but it won’t be on the button for another week or so.

I didn't take it over about 65mph as I wasn't used to it, which is about 2600rpm. Don't have the same need to as I do with the Fabia.

Amazing.

I would regard not being able to cruise at 130kph within 5 minutes of getting into a car for the first time a significant deficiency for anything made in the last 20 years or so!
