Ordered from the firm named on the box. It's the right hand shaft, with an intermediate support bearing. £35 from JandR! How they do the whole shaft for that little I don't understand. New pads and discs to go on too. The discs would do, but I have had new discs waiting for five years and I am sick of the sight of them. All four pads worn down evenly to about 2mm. Any hints on seperating the knuckle ball-joint from the control arm?

barefoot
I went to a Rover 75 meet today. I go to a lot of VW air-cooled shows and although they're all the same, they really are, despite the opinions expressed on here, all very different. Leaving that argument for another day, all Rover 75's really are the same, and the things folk do to them are essentially pointless. I saw an early W plate with the much later smokestone, graphite grey dash fitted and an 06 plate which looked earlier than all the others put together with a proper wooden dash & those early oval 2.5 litre badges. All the V8 examples seemed to have crappy V8 badges all over them & silly big chrome exhausts. Folk were friendly enough and gave me a jack and a plenum rodding tool. Here's an exciting photograph of lots of the same car in a field on a dull day. Yoss, wuvvum, scdan4 and 3 others 5

I don't think I'll be able to head out until the afternoon so if there's still something going on I could head over. I was thinking that a quick run over to Betws Y Coed to recycle some bottle tops was vaguely appealing. I did manage to get out twice today so that was good. Edit: I just looked and found their website and it's 7:30 to 10:30, so it's unlikely I make it Edited October 19, 2019 by Tim_E

No no, was wondering if it was a disco 3/range rover sport , I was going to suggest checking the servo for oil as these have a common issue with filling them with oil. Island4x4 is a good place for landy bits. I've spent way to much with them over the past few years. My discos a 300tdi so bits are usually cheap as chips anyway. brownnova
Went to Chester cars and coffee this morning. Here’s some of what I saw! Sadly I had to park between two moderns, although when I looked I realised that there’s 10 years between the two cars either side of mine! One life... lived it. Got the major horn for a 924 at the moment. Lots of shiny stuff, plenty of modified and modern stuff but a good friendly mornings meet! dome, vulgalour, strangeangel and 2 others

Spurious
Ohh I hope its a Trabant! (or a 2 Stroke wartburg) Sadly not. Thought theres a nice trabant for 2200 on Facebook it's a little out of my budget. I needed something that will do a work run every so often. It's a fairly solid motor car. Bit bargy. Cord Fourteener
Went out for a blast, a bit of a tune up and a nice drive. I did the triangle on the Denbigh moors, that are on my doorstep. Car is on top form, list of things needing doing is reduced to the meanial now. I saw some bad driving, a rare raptor (possibly a Hen Harrier, maybe a kestrel. Both live up there, Hen Harriers are very very rare indeed so statistically it was a kestrel I suppose), the biggest murmuration of starlings I've seen in a very long time and a sheep in the road who nearly ruined everything for us both. Was a lot of fun and very pleasing. Edited October 20, 2019 by Tim_E Split_Pin, adw1977, paulplom and 16 others
