I made the mammoth collection of around 3 miles from my house and it had sat on the drive for a week as I was busy at work. Finally took it out for a wash & a little get to know you drive & a short time later a brake hose decided to shit about 5 billion litres of fluid out on the way home which was a laugh* So it was immobilised for another week or so till yesterday when it was finally replaced. I'm trying to sweet talk a mechanic I know into swapping the gearbox over, it has a known issue dropping down from 3rd to 2nd gear were it makes an extremely unpleasant crunch, I can drive around it for now though. Plan is to get it through it's MOT in May and take it from there. I'll probably use it more than an I initially thought due to petrol prices being OMFG, makes sense when the rest of the fleet are thirsty bastards. Overall VELLY PLEASED Looking good! I kinda regret letting this go now, but it was sat doing nothing. I have the replacement box in the back of the van, will get it dropped over to you SRi05

Broadsword
Fuel prices are rising before my eyes, literally. I rocked up for some LPG in the Range Rover. First observation it went up from 82p last week to 96p when I got to the station today. Bugger! I connect the gas filler thingy, press the button and the price rose to 99p as I started to fill up. I've heard of dynamic pricing, but this is more dynamic than I expected! Diesel is defo going to hit £2 per litre isn't it? wesacosa
just been to manor park classic auction. have to say I was quite impressed. No catalogue fee or fee to register to bid. Even have a 4 post lift you can view the cars on in week leading up to auction. Fuzz Townshend and the guy from Salvage hunters classic cars have some interest in the business and both were there. Nice mix of cars . Fancied a cheeky one on the Estelle or the Ital but didn't in the end. Ital went for a song at 3k that Nova saloon had 5700 on clock , although didn't see what it went for Dick Longbridge, Shite Ron, LightBulbFun and 10 others

There's likely to be international interest. Likely the person that buys it will modify it slightly. Add cross 14 inch alloys and better brakes. brownnova
Two bits of car good news yesterday… Firstly, after stumbling across a thread on a Saab forum describing the exact issue with my 9000 (having looked previously and not found anything) I worked out that the aircon clutch is what had seized. So simply disconnecting the aircon would mean the car will run fine… now this is rather simple so I’m not quite sure why I hadn’t worked that out before! So (once I had charged the battery) would it work? Of course it would. First time and everything! Gave it a little test run, and decided when I popped to the garage later I would book it an MoT… Why was I at the garage? Another years motoring assured for the Trans Sport! One owner from new, fantastic condition and fascinating backstory with photographic evidence. It would do well, I'm sure. There must be another story with the car being mega early spec yet registered on a Y plate. These were all on a very W plate weren't they? trigger
I thought it was quite late for a early spec, that's probably why it was given away in a competition, it may have sat around for a while and perhaps couldn't sell it? I haven't posted about it before, it's never been on the market, I have a friends who interested but I'm still debating it myself but it would have to replace the Dolomite HillmanImp and Eyersey1234
