Checked the oil in all the cars; pug too low. Mondeo; too high. Volvo just right, but the oil is due a change anyway. The main job is to flush the coolant after the garage put radiator sealant in; not what I asked them to do but we'll see if it helps. The frankenalternator's done super well but the funny coating Lucas has put on it is turning white super duper fast and I need to remove 1mm from the spacer I have installed on the pulley. On the plus side, at least the new pulley has removed all the glazing on the belt. I'll take it off again, paint it and repack the front bearing with fresh grease. Ideally it needs replacement but I don't have a puller. It'll also give my the opportunity to put some grease on the hinge bolt, tensioner bolt and the hanger itself.
